It makes sense that Brown and Porzingis are working on their chemistry, apparently they live in the same building and carpool to games together so they are becoming good friends.
The past about 3 years the Celtics have been a soft team.. glad you pointed that. I’ve been saying for awhile the Cs need some dogs on the roster that’s just enforcers par bev or PJ Tucker kind of player. Wholes only there for there role an toughness .. if a vet leadership too

Agree about your JB and KP observation. They have had chemistry early and that is so so so needed for JB and being able to pass more and hopefully as the year goes continues to improve a critical dimension in JBs game for the playoffs

Porzingis should get more shots if he's having a good shooting game. Jaylen was forcing things during some stretches, he should have just passed it.
This was probably the most intelligent game I've ever seen Brown play. I really enjoyed watching the two-man game between him and Porzingis. An excellent team win against a Knicks team that played well.

I agree, JB and KP need to be on the floor together when JT is sitting. JT is fine with any lineup and will get his PTS.
I’m trying to not get too high or too low this early in the season. We have a four game road trip that begins in Philly. If we can beat Philly or at least not get torched by Maxey and handle business vs the three under-500 teams after, I will let myself start to believe 18 is on the table.
I'm loving this squad. I admit I was skeptical of how Jaylen was going to fit at first, but I'm really surprised by the chemistry he's building with KP. If they keep growing that trust, then the two of them are the perfect co-sidekicks to JT. Not to mention Jrue being the ultimate upgraded version of Smart. Let's go
I just love to see our chemistry growing together more and that we are keeping our intensity can’t wait to see how it goes this season

I feel that we should turn this team into two Big 3 teams. Yes the normal starters start but after the first subs it should be Brown, Zingas and Holiday and Tatum, White and Horford swapping in.

7 is a terror to watch.
He doesn’t make the simple plays and that is a concern. 7 has to be more mature in the 1Q when 0 is on the bench. Make the right play consistently and then we become dangerous. NY matches up with us due to lack of size of wings. Philly is an issue because of their size. They have 3D guys with length.

While it’s great that JB and KP have great chemistry they aren’t going to base the rotation around that. Jaylen’s rotations are based on defensive matchups against the other team’s best scoring wing. That’s not always going to match with when KP is on the floor.

Man! It’s fun to watch these guys gelling and rooting for one another. They really seem to enjoy playing together. I think having Jrue over Smart is such a difference maker, and KP spreading the floor is a thing of beauty. Ironic that one of the things they need is basically a less expensive, less mouthy, less arrogant Grant Williams lol
I just love watching Porzingis play. I can't wait to watch the Alien v Unicorn matchup. I hope KP reminds everyone that he is the OG.

If they don't trust their bench biggs to play in games like this, (there will be a lot of them) why don't they trade up a big they can trust. and dont say there aren't out there, they could get Theis pretty easy. Be nice to have Theis out there 15 -20 min against these big teams. When Kris and Al are both unavailable, we are just gonna see what the centers they don't trust to play can do. Hope we have Neemi back soon, hope people realize he won't be in full basketball shape, hopefully he will be close. We nee that Third center bad, I thought they trusted Kornet, well I guess the will find out.
Tatum gotta finish every game with 10+ points in the 4th and Celtics have best record in NBA. If he does that he can win mvp. IT averaged 12 and he’s 5’9” I understand this team has a lot more talent but if you wanna be the MVP you gotta be THAT guy to finish games and have the big stats on both sides of the ball + win
