Depends on what you have to give up. I don’t think they should give up Rui or Vando because the defense will collapse and you need as many quality wings as possible given Lebron’s age.

I’m willing to trade Austin Reaves, Dlo any of the other guards and Prince.

amongst the Bulls ‘mid 3’ I would preferably go for DDR not only because he makes less $ but is also expiring so a lot lower asking price I’d like to think. Matching Dlo/vincent’s salary matches DDR’s. Also past rumors/confirmed interest from DDR/homecoming. Would love AC back too :/

  3. It the trade decimates our depth, no.

We have enough offensive arsenal. We will most likely trade away our depth if we get him.

  4. MaxiThe13th

Might as well trade for DeRozan & Zach

  5. Siltysand1

We’ve already tried the multi superstar model numerous times and it doesn’t work

  6. BlackMamba1021

Only getting Zach if Caruso is in the deal. 👀

  7. Delicious-Froyo-6920

Please don’t make this the Russ Trade 2.0

  8. 0 Reason to get yet another all offense, no defense guy.

We have plenty of bucket getters, were getting cooked on defense.

  9. Yommination

Dlo, Rui and JHS +a first for Lavine and Caruso

  10. I like our depth and I like our defense. Lavine is a risk, higher ceiling but lower floor. Also ties us into a big contract going forward that takes us out of the running for Tatum and others when Bron retires.

Pelinka should look to snipe the Caruso deal, let the other teams fight eachother for Lavine/Derozan/Vucevic.

  12. Perzect

Would much rather have Caruso than Lavine

  13. Frickex

Hard NO. Weve got the pieces rn. The only thing we need is another role player, not a star. Literally an alex caruso is all we need

  14. theseustheminotaur

For the vet minimum hell yeah.

For a trade that would require whatever chicago thinks is enough, probably not. Lavine doesn’t move the needle at all if we’re giving up DLo + depth or whatever else.

He’s not a lead guard so we’d need another creator. Anyone think Max Christie is ready for full time backup pg duties? Or are we going to expect Lavine to be a pg for the first time since his very first season?

Its not a good fit. We don’t need him. Lets ignore all the rumors and stop making threads about this

Who are all these bucket getters on the Lakers people are speaking of? The guard play on this team is horrid. I’m never opposed to getting guys who can lighten AD and Lebron workload.

  16. embrassedpear5

No lmao, Caruso is easier and a better fit to get then Lavine

  17. GamerRav

I don’t think we can make a good enough offer for Lavine without gutting our team too much, but if the Bulls are blowing it up, I would love to see our boy AC back in the purple and gold, and I don’t think he would be too expensive.

  18. aCrazyCatDude

What do they give up? I wish the Lakers had a little more options post lebron

  19. imironman2018

If the contract wasn’t so expensive, this wouldn’t be a bad trade. I think LaVine really would be a decent fit. provide a much needed scoring punch.

  20. they would want a combination of DLO, Rui, Austin + picks I’m sure

  21. UllrCtrl

What are we going to have to move to get such a huge contract. Plus he’s another inefficient offensive talent without much defense, doesn’t seem like a good move to me at all. Other than the obvious Caruso, maybe Vucevic or if Patrick Williams gets a cheap deal because he’s been playing really bad so far this season and a change of scenery might be what he needs.

  22. CooperHouseDeals

Jeanie ain’t paying for a $40 million dollar star.

  23. Klaxosaur

This is pretty much how teams value our 2029 pick.
