I see some really expected us to go 81-1. Thatās the only explanation why some are so angry
Nurse subtly criticizing Embiid here for not being tough finishing inside but also said that travel call on him was terrible.
clippers vs nuggets rn on national tv, hoping for some more shaqtin level harden lowlights to cheer us up lol
Hali is nice, actually whole pacers squad is pretty fun to watch I don’t hate them like most other teams in the East yet. I prob won’t start hating them until we have an inevitable toxic first round playoff matchup.
Kinda salty we had to face such a fast paced team on the first night of the back to back against Boston but it is what it is. Would have liked to see springer out there just to see if he could have created some chaos on D. But refs were calling a lot of fouls so idk, prob wouldn’t have worked out. At least we can have faith in the coach now and not need to second guess every decision.
Biggest complaint is the brain dead knuckle draggers that swarm the game threads whenever we’re losing. Fuck outta here with all that melodramatic shitting on Embiid, maxey, etc especially after the start the team’s had this season. And down 2 of our top 6 guys. Some of y’all are just miserable mfs and I seriously wonder how draining and unpleasant it must be to be around you in life.
Itās weird that weāre two role players short and it makes a huge difference. Awesome to see Melton have a great game! Harris had a quiet game, I like how heās being used in this offense. Embiid had a great statline but heās sluggish. Last three games have been particularly egregious with how physical people are with him, he earned every single one of those free throws. That travelling call and that pass that Maxey bobbled late in the 4th sealed it for the Pacers. 6 points from the Sixers bench isnāt gonna cut it. Oh well, on to the next one.
We still don’t have a bench that can score. Many great defenders, but no one who can just go out there and either a.) Set people up, b.) Score on their own or c.) Both. Can we trade for a sixth man? Only half joking.
On the record, idgaf about this loss and honestly thought this would be the Pacers night after gettin punched in the mouth Sunday. The streak had to end somewhere and I’m fine with losing a game missing two impact guys. Maxey dropped 50 Sunday so forgive me if I’m not hard on the kid for some weak shot selection and turnovers.
Having said that, I will never understand why Jo is bringing up the rock at that moment in the stretch of the game. Love the guy but I swear to god I could eat a bag of shrooms and still have better handle than Joel. Dude’s hands are made of cotton candy sometimes. It’s the juxtaposition of how fuckin huge he is with how delicately he holds the ball, I will never understand it
Canāt win em all
winnable game, couple unfortunate misses and bad decisions against a good team. not worried in november with 2 guys out.
Why do I find myself caring so much about this stupid tournament. It feels wrong that the first game we played against the Pacers doesn’t count, but this one does. Why did the scheduled loss have to be during the tournament? Feels bad man. š¢
Covington, Morris, Beverly, House, Furk and Paul Reed all combined for 8 pts total in 90 minutes of play. Thatās impossibly bad
Not a huge fan of Embiidās late game quitting infecting Maxey.
Embiid needs to get it together with the sloppiness
How embarrassing
Does this mean we donāt need to play on these ugly ass courts anymore?
Getting the Pacers for two straight games was nasty work from the NBA schedule makers, that was a damn track meet.
Our wings DNP so of course Obi fucking Toppin takes advantage and has a career night
22 threes is just too low for todays game. But this iloss is probably more on being shorthanded than anything
Its 1 game. We lost move on, no need to implode. No teams going to win every gamd
Time to blow it up
No overreaction itās just one lost, weāre missing two important pieces to our bench against a hungry pacers team
8-2 with 72 games left to play.
Doomers stfu.
How do we get Embiid to never take another 3?
Worst part is we probably were going to lose to Boston either way tomorrow
If you’re on league pass during timeouts or half time you see this clip of a bunch of NBA players being asked to explain why the in-season tournament is so exciting
Generally, if something is exciting to viewers you shouldn’t have to tell viewers why something is exciting to viewers
batum’s shooting alone honestly probably makes this game go the other way. just needed a few more 3s taken. maxey also could have shot some more, i want him to shoot 8 a game generally.
I didn’t get a chance to watch the game. The box score suggests we lost this game at the perimeter. Is that true?
