  1. **Injuries to Monitor**:
    * GSW potentially does not have Steph (knee) either.
    * Lakers saw Lebron today at practice but he is dealing with a calf strain so he’s a game time decision in the near-term.
    * Lakers also have Anthony Davis (adductor) who is probable to play Tuesday against Memphis, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports. Another to keep an eye on but not rely on.
    * Grizzlies have Ja, Rose, Adams, Xavier Tillman, and Brandon Clarke out.
    * Mavs only have Maxi Kleber (toe) out. Relatively healthy squad.
    * Nuggets have Murray definitively out for a month.
    * Edit: Adding r/Sengun here since we don’t know how his ankle would respond to the two weekend games but four days off may be a blessing for him. 🀞

**My Expected Scenarios:** Hopefully we can get back one game from the Warriors, beat the Lakers again outright and split second one due to complacency or randomness, and beat the Grizzlies (struggling & win one for the Villain). I know the Clippers are struggling currently but that makes them more desperate than us with the accumulation of SoCal buddies team in Kawhi, PG, Russ, Harden, Norm Powell, etc. and we are on a high off the six game win streak so we may letup or slip up before refocusing due to loss (idk). Mavs are clicking on all cylinders so that’s a potential tossup between a grind out or us getting beat down by their offensive weapons (FTM). Nuggets is also a toss up on both as we saw. They might get the next one without Murray due to adjustment and us counter adjust to squeeze one out hopefully.

**Record Prediction:** Overall, I think we can get it to 4-4 or 5-3 in this rough stretch. Also, some away games so that’ll be different. Or we can get something like 3-5 and revert back to the mean as many outsiders seem to expect. 3-5 would mean we are 9-8 which is still over .500 and respectable for pursuit of play-in and factoring a tough beginning schedule.

I’m going to assume 1-7 & be pleasantly surprised when a couplefew extra wins hopefully pop in.

This is arguably the most difficult stretch of schedule in our season.

If we can win half these games, we are probably going to contend for a top-6 seed.

It’s possible, but I’m not going to project it unless these teams are missing their best or second best players.

8-9. I think we beat the clippers, grizzlies, and win one of the games against the lakers. Trying to be as realistic as possible lol. Still really good considering our projected 33 or so wins, especially with the tough shedule we had to begin the season

Realistically 3-5, possibly 4-4. We really need to win the games we’re “supposed” to win on this stretch, of which there are few.

I think if we really play out of our minds like we have been 6-2 is not out of the question, but that seems extremely unlikely.

This is a really tough stretch of games, and expect doomers to come crawling out the woodwork if we go 2-6, but it really won’t be that bad.

  5. How the hell did you guys get like 5 days off between games?

Clippers – No idea what’s going on down there but the Clips are absolutely dysfunctional at the moment, vibes are all time low. They have not figured out how to handle PG/Kawhi/Russ/James all on the court together. W

Warriors – Steph is questionable, and Draymond may well be suspended for the game given his shit with Gobert today. If Steph and/or Dray are out, W, if not, probably an L.

Grizzlies – No Ja, Adams, Rose, Tillman, Clarke. They are beyond cooked. W

Nuggets – Jokic is gonna Jokic. If anyone else steps up and plays well other than Joker, then probably an L.

Mavericks – Luka’s on a tear right now and Kyrie is performing well too. Could well be an L

Lakers – Based on their schedule, I could see one or both of Lebron/AD resting during the Rockets game. We seem like the better team right now, so I’ll give it a W, but you never know if both Lebron/AD decide to show up it’s real coinflippy.

Assuming our form doesn’t fall off a cliff & we get no injuries, 4-4 seems very reasonable.
