  1. It's time to rebuild. Everything started falling apart when Lonzo Ball blew out his knee, and it looks like it won't ever heal completely. Even with Zach an DeRozan, the best this team can get is the play-in level, which basically means they aren't ever going to be a championship team with this roster.

  2. Zach LaVine is not a max player. There's no way he should have gotten a Max contract. Max contracts should only go to superstars. Zach LaVine is just a little above average, plus he plays with absolutely no heart.

  3. Haven't cared about the Bulls since Jordan left. Likely won't care again. When you witness the 90's Bulls, it's only down from there.

  4. You can’t fully evaluate the Bulls until Lonzo gets back… he’s their best player… plus Zach or Demar cannot play defense

  5. I think we should never underestimate Klutch Sports and their ability to manipulate situations and get their clients paired with LeBron. After seeing his effort this season I can see this as his way to get traded if he keeps playing poorly and his value keeps going down all of a sudden that 2029 draft pick is the best pick you can get makes the Lakers deal more attractive than it actually is. Trade him to Utah or Washington for Draft Picks.

  6. So I normally like Bernstein but his takes on center couldn't be more wrong. Centers have gone #1 and #2 overall in back to back years. Centers have won back to back to back MVP's. None of that is never happening with RB's. Sabonis was not traded from Indy because he played Center, but because they had 2 Centers and you only need one. The title contending Celtics just picked up a 31 million dollar/year center. The Miami heat just made the NBA finals with their second best player being 32 million/year center. It's not like these guys are vast (If at all improvements over Vooch and cost roughly 50% as much.) The advanced stats say Vooch is as good or better defensively. Since 2020 Vooch has the same Defensive rating as Kristap and more Defensive win shares and a higher Vorp. Compared to Bam he's got a slightly higher defenisve rating, about the same defensive winshare 11.0 to 11.1, and Vooch has a slightly higher VORP. So you get almost exactly equal production for 33% less of the cost as vooch is only a 20 mill/year salary and you don't think some team would want that? I'm not buying that for a second.

  7. LaVine is the typical modern NBA player, greate athlete, "skilled" but he's soft, plays no defense, and only gets points because of the offense-friendly rules of today's NBA. He would have never averaged more than 25 if the league didn't reduce defensive contact.

  8. Now is the time to make moves. What many fans don’t get is how hard it is to build a really good team. Everyone wants to blow it up constantly. But, what you may get when you blow it up is another bad team. It’s not going to be better just because you blow it up. After a rebuild, you have to be patient and see what your group can do.

But, at this point they know this group isn’t going to be good enough. So it’s time to move pieces and try again.
