Yes, the Mavs have defeated some bad teams on route to 6-1, but if you watched the Mavs last year you know that it is a massive improvement for them. Last year, they were the ones building leads and then collapsing in the 4th. I remember the early OKC game, where there was 4 minutes left and the Mavs are up by 16. Then Isaiah Joe just started hitting 3s, and the Mavs couldn't stop the bleeding. The rebounding is still shite but if it was that 22-23 Mavs playing, they'd lose like 5 of those 7 games. I'm just happy the Mavs are taking care of business.

Mavs are a top 5 team in the west and that’s a good improvement considering the assets they had. One more long defensive player and they are a contender.
People don’t know basketball you beat the bad teams and go 50/50 with good teams and you will win 50 plus games.
Clearly people have not seen the Mavs play and just watch highlights and stuck to the narrative of the past. This is the NBA. Any team can beat you at any day. This is not 2k.
