Why tf Rudy getting fined ? ~~AND WHY NOT GREEN~~ I guess cause of the suspension ? Give him both.

  2. MrAppleSpoink

Bro why Rudy getting fined? They literally said themselves he was a peacemaker.

  3. Didn’t get rejected because he was a peacemaker but got fined for fight?? Way to speak straight from your ass NBA.

  4. Yeah, that’ll teach Rudy to not…

    *checks notes*

    Get put in a headlock?

  5. JumperCables18

Silver running the NBA like a high school with a zero tolerance policy lol

  6. Well duh, Gobert shouldn’t have been standing there.

  7. Osukid2811

Why the fuck is rudy being fined?????

He tried to break up the fight and got choked out for no reason.

  8. Sweaty_Ad440

Rudy getting fined 25k for trying to break up a fight and then getting choked out is hilarious.

  9. bigbrownbanjo

Far be it from me to keep defending Rudy Gobert…

But fining the guy that tried to break it up then didn’t retaliate after the choke hold is a great way to incentivize the wrong behavior next time.

  10. NBA refs “Rudy was a peace keeper”

    Silver “$25,000 fine”

  11. LothCatPerson

Gobert getting fined for trying to break up a fight.

  12. BUUAHAHAHA

Rudy basically got fined for speaking facts. Lmao

  13. SomeFatherFigure

Yeah, no way the NBAPA doesn’t appeal Gobert’s fine. Unless they have evidence he instigated earlier in the game, $25k for breaking up a fight and getting attacked from behind isn’t a precedent the players will stand for.

  14. FrankSamples

I could really use $25,000 right now and these dumbasses giving it away for free

  15. Can someone ask Gobert what he thinks of the NBA for fining him. He is supposedly innocent and was only trying to break up a fight. Look at KAT. He tried to break up the fight too and he wasn’t fined. Maybe he is being fined for running his mouth after the whole altercation took place. Or maybe it was because his arm was briefly around Klay’s neck.

  16. Ill_Celery_7654

lol… that’s tough. Gobert should’ve got $1000 knocked off for every foot that Draymond dragged him across the court.

  17. New_Essay_4869

I would like to believe Rudy’s fine is for savagely roasting Draymond

  18. IzodCenter

Are people dumb and not understanding that he got fined for getting in to break up the fight?

  19. _Tar_Ar_Ais_

wish it was like hockey, I just want to see them fight

  20. therealcrowhorse

gobert you get a 25k fine and another choke out by draymond while he doing a podcast

  21. Acrobatic-Simple-161

People who think Rudy didn’t escalate the situation are probably a little to affected by their own biases. It’s pretty reasonable to see Rudy grabbing Klay in real time and assume he’s intending to inflict harm. It’s why most players who are peacekeeping don’t break up altercations by grabbing the opposing team’s player. Usually they go to grab their teammate or do the hands out move to create space between the fighting parties

I’m sorry this whole thing makes Adam Silver look terrible he is just proving you get special treatment in this league if you are liked by certain people… which is no spoiler

  23. likesexonlycheaper

Good. I was gonna be so pissed if Gobert got away with that shit

  24. Rudy getting fined for trying to break up a fight. Joke ass league.

  25. grooovyturtle

Gobert literally tried breaking it up what the fuck

  26. TheBeardedInfidel

Wait Rudy got fined for breaking up a fight and getting choked for it? wtf

  27. BingoBongoBang

What did Rudy do? Seems like this should be a pretty easy appeal win

  28. waftingSilverNotes

I’m glad Gobert is getting fined too, get something r/nba more to cry about.

  29. SuperLunchSpecial

I really believe that if you’re breaking up a fight between one of your own teammates and the player(s) on the other team, you should only restrain your own teammates. Any contact with an opposing player in those heated moments can easily be construed to have malicious intent. Just avoid it from the start by holding your own man back.

In saying that, fuck you Draymond.
