I’ve been saying this for a while, James Harden is the problem wherever he goes post his Rockets era. He is a ball dominant guard whose physical skill is declining, which is only natural, yet he continues to think he’s the Harden that carried the Rockets. Teams end up being willing to trade away tons of assets that would probably make the team better in the long run, leaving holes in the team that they think James can fill. Don’t get me wrong, he is still a heck of a player, and if he could learn how to produce while not being “the system” then he could be a key piece on a championship squad, but the way he is now he is the problem on each of his last 3 teams. If he absolutely needs to be ball dominant he should be a 6th man then, leading the 2nd unit, being free to be “the system” for the bench
