Great to see us pull out a win, but again, if we don’t have the lead going into the fourth, we almost always lose because our fourth quarter execution is terrible. Hopefully we grow out of it. Would love to see this team actually come back from a deficit to pull out a win.
The Suggs slander lately has been wild, he had a really bad turnover in the fourth but he was also involved in multiple plays in the fourth that were key in getting us the ball back. Craziest comp was the MCW one earlier today

I know we suck at shooting, but the lineups being played are making it even worse. The starting lineup needs a shooter, move Suggs or AB to the bench – either one will be fine coming off the bench and may play better since there will be a shooter in that lineup as well. I wish Mose would go back to his early Franz sub that we were doing last year and keep one of Paolo or Franz on the floor at all times.
The 4th quarter decision making can’t be all on Mosely but I cannot believe how many times they tried to attack Caruso. If you can’t get the switch, make a quick decision to run the play through the other guy. Also, if you are down 3 and the game is almost over FOUL the man who catches the ball on the inbounds. Don’t even give them a chance at getting up a 3. Then you can sub in Moe W/Gary/Ingles for free throws.
I swear it was like watching a fucking team trying to tank again.

There is a reason why we are getting shit on every single second half. We are getting so severely outcoached. Our talent is giving us first half leads. Then the other team go in their locker room and make a handful of adjustments. We come out playing the same ball as we did in the first half. But now we are against a team that has seen what we can do, and has adjusted accordingly.
Thats my theory atleast. There is a reason why we just can’t do anything in the second half, game after game. I believe it has to be a coaching diff that is killing us.

Other than the last couple mins that’s gotta be the most boring and terrible basketball game I’ve seen in a while. How both teams scored even 90 I dunno

It’s a W! Yes, it’s a hot mess of a game but we got what matters.
Final half of 4th and Banchero remembered what kind of pizza Chicago makes. He ain’t letting that fly!
I feel for Black. He made one under pressure at the last ft, and that’s enough for me being that he’s a rookie.
This team is creating an identity and finds a way to get the win. I’m saying this because even if this team isn’t sharp at shooting, they identify themselves as winners.

Our young kids care and it’s great to see, I was yelling at the tv for AB to put his head up and stop crying (game wasn’t even over yet) but I’ll admit it made me proud 🥲

Bulls played terrible the first half which gave us a double digit lead going into the half. Wouldn’t say the Magic played particularly well the first half, the bulls just played significantly worse… on offense that is. The Magic’s defense was much better tonight than last night.
Second half was a different story. Bulls 2nd unit clawed their team back to within striking distance. Magic need to get better at adapting to other team’s adjustments after the half.
Poor shooting night for the Magic outside of a few guys. Paolo and Franz are both in a shooting slump right now and it’s giving teams an opportunity to take control of the game.
This team has a long way to go. But we’re still one of the 5 youngest teams in the league and haven’t had Fultz or Dell half the season. I’m as anxious as anyone to have this team be relevant but the most important thing is we’ve spent a decade begging for a player that could do exactly what Paolo fucking Banchero just did right there. He played like shit most of the night. Didn’t matter. I’d walk through hell for that man

Paolo hitting the gw was the only good takeaway from this game lol I swear I only sat through the whole thing because I’m a magic fan but that was Broncos on Mnf levels bad offensively.
I disagree with Lavine being the “missing piece” on our team. We need a facilitator (Lavine isn’t that) and he’s also lackluster on defense. He could be a key piece on another contender but I don’t see him being a good fit for the magic. Imo
See too much “bench Suggs” commentary yet he did like 4-5 little things in the last 5 minutes that helped us win the game independent of shooting. Obviously we need this whole damn roster to be able to shoot but he does so many good things.
Man some of y’all need to relax. Go smoke something or get laid or whatever. This is a super young team. It’s going to take a while, literally a year or more, for them to learn how to close out games. It’s the NBA not college, this shit is hard and they’re learning to win. Enjoy watching them grow.
It was so heartbreaking/encouraging seeing AB crying on the bench after missing one of those FTs. It’s so refreshing to have players who actually care so much about winning!

Like it or not, the way we’re currently built, we’re not going to win a lot of blow outs. This is a team built to “muck it up” and make games ugly. We’re not last year’s Heat, but that’s a lot of what their identity was. Just make it ugly and you have a chance at the end
That was some defense by Vucevic at the end there. Love seeing Banchero recognize the mismatch and go right at Caruso.
I didn’t watch the game so I’m basing this question on the box score: is something up with Franz? His shooting has not been on point in these games. Maybe he does need a break. Have Jett start with Ingles off the bench for a road game to give the man a break.

That was some ugly basketball but we’re a young team on the second night of a back to back. I’m happy with the defense and finding a way to take back the lead after giving it up.
Loved Paolo getting more experience being the guy with the ball at the end of the game, even this year there’s been multiple points where it looks like they don’t know who to run things through in crunch time. Its gotta be some sort of two man game with him and Franz initiating imo
