“Should I just accept this is not a good team and allow us to have a chance (albeit small) to draft a generational player?
…nahhh, better trade our future for a mediocre center.”

Building a roster with non-shooters, and minimal spacing in 2023 NBA is a recipe for disaster

How could he fire a coach that maximizes Scottie and is a developmental coach!!!
Scottie was playing better last season under nurse then Darko /s

Extra taxes, customs, high standard of living itās a hard sell especially for players coming from states with high state income tax. Playing in Toronto living in California you could be paying 15-20% more income tax then a player on the same contract living and playing in Texas or Florida.
The NHL is having that problem right now. Teams in Florida are attracting and retaining talent because itās so much better to play there then in Winnipeg or Edmonton, and those hockey players are from Canada! I just donāt see how the NBA can essentially pay less and expect NBA talent to want to play here, really goes to show you how impressive our NBA Championship was.

Masai “sometimes plans take a couple of years”
this sub “no! NO! NO! IN MY 2k I TRADED LEBRON AND KD IN A 7 WAY AND TRADE AND TURNED IT ALL AROUND”
also this sub “lets trade everyone away to contenders for their shitty late round 1st and we’ll just draft all stars”
I hate all you kids in this sub, I say kids because clearly if you think masai is bad at his job you have no memory of colangelo or babcock. You also are absolutely delusional if you think building a team in Toronto is as easy as anywhere else in the states.
