  1. Hiding him? No they haven't. Rockets fans been saying this for years now. Y'all just weren't hearing it.

  2. My grandma and I couldnā€™t stand Sylas!! We always waited for Sengun to take the reins or at least be allowed anywhere near them but sylas had it out for him. Glad he is getting a chance to shine with Udoka

  3. Jalen Green is going to take a leap this year too. He spent his whole career under terrible coaching and hasnā€™t got the right opportunity to thrive under the right leadership. Sengun will also help him get better.

  4. what would you say about him comparing to the only turkish basketball player with the nba ring (2004- Pistons), the only turkish all-star (2007- Jazz), the money man Mehmet Okur?

  5. There are some of us who saw this coming. That guy had flashes of brilliance his rookie year. he is a system. FVV and the coach were the keys needed to maximize his game

  6. Also donā€™t get it twisted, he didnā€™t become this kind of player until a coach like Udoka. During Silas, he was taken out of games for not playing defense. Granted, there seemed to be an issue of accountability all around in the locker room, which also happens when you donā€™t have the right veterans in there. But heā€™s still young and has a ways to go.

  7. Alperen states Jokic as the GOAT and idolize him but unlike him, Alperen's priority is basketball. In 3 seasons he improved himself a lot, especially on the areas he is being critized. This prooves that his IQ and resiliance is not only on the court but also out of it.

  8. Alperen is 21 and this is his 3rd season. Jokic was 23 in his 3rd season. A more fair comparison would be 3rd season of Jokic(when he was 23) with 5th season of Sengun.

  9. Any Rockets fan knows who he is. He is special. Definitely old school or "by the book". he is a swiss army knife but he isn't just good at alot of things, he is great and alot of things. Sengun was stellar for us last year but with a much better coach and a team who seems to be putting in the work this year, we are starting to see just how good he is.

  10. For someone who doesn't follow basketball closely or even understands the rules well I can give an outsider's perspective. I started watching basketball two years ago. My gut tells me that the NBA focuses on the physicality of the game while the European league focuses on the technical prowess of the game. Seems to me that the NBA is ripe for players like the Joker and Doncic to hack the league.

  11. It's the other way around, most "normies" bought more into sengun than green. Also sengun had his leap last season, this season he is just showing the results of the work he already put in.
Because he had simpler weaknesses to deal with. he primarily worked on his conditioning and defense, so far since he got into the NBA.
The rockets have an extremely talented young core. Who all have been putting in work to develop. Sengun, green, and jabari all have extremely high potential right now. And when they learn to really play off of each other. They will make each other much better. Because they have complementary play styles, strengths, and weaknesses.

  12. Louis scola should come to rockets training staff he can help lp a lot with the silicate offence hooks and fakes under the basket scoring
