Should have started rebuilding last year. I don't know if this front office is lazy, just doesn't want to admit defeat or a little bit of both.
In my opinion we've been rebuilding since 1998. We've had a couple good seasons since then, but honestly we haven't accomplished nothing since then
Gonna put this here… hoping the guys see it. The kid that was in a commercial facetiming Zach Lavine… Zach would go hang with this kid and not be about the team, sure he put in work but hasnt been about this team for a long time… learning golf was more important than putting in work? A family member who knows this kid, figured out real quick that Zach isnt that guy.
This is the first time I’ve said this, but it’s time to tear it all the way down and start over. Including the coaching staff.And I’d even consider including AKME in that. I have zero faith in anyone involved with the Bulls organization right now. Billy is a below average coach, and AK hit on Jokic in Denver and what else? Nothing that I can see. Complete reset, let’s do it.
Here's what has to happen for Karnisov. Trade Lavine to the Lakers for Austin Reaves, Huchimura, and D Angelo Russell. Trade DeRozan to Miami for Tyler Hero and Duncan Robinson. Your team just got much younger , way better 3 pt shooting , and young enough to play defense and blend in perfectly with Vucevic, Caruso, Ayo, and Coby White. Watch the Bulls rise as they now have the shooting talent to take advantage of those wide open 3pt shots. This is a more coachable team. Billy Donovan now will have a team that can execute his real offensive sets. Now you have a future with youth, tremendous pt. guard play and 3 pt shooting. Watch how much better Patrick Williams plays with this team . They would shoot teams off the floor.
I wouldn't mind Herro Duncan and some picks better than Dlo and rui or reaves
After Gar/Pax AKME tried to make the Bulls relevant again. It worked for a very short time but I believe they deserve a shot and are well positioned for a true full rebuild.
Trade Zach for Young Shooters and a couple picks
Another Chicago sports franchise gone bad. Nothing new here.
If the Bulls choose to rebuild, AKME must step down too and give it to someone who knows how to find and construct talent. 1 of 5 good draft picks is not good. They missed so many game changers in drafts like Haliburton, Maxey, Kessler, etc for 4 years.
