  1. i mean zach is a good player, but is not what we need now, i would love to see him playing for us, but we should focus on shooting, like i always wanted trae young on the team, but sadly will not heppen

  2. The Saviour was drafted on July 29, 2021. but we had to prioritize Fred and Pascal.

Give Scottie the ball, and work around him. He'll find you when you're open.

  3. Raptor fans are so delusional. We got a new coach for development. Scottie finally has a leap. Gradey been showing signs of potential. Why not develop our young core and bulid a new identity in Toronto. Zach Lavine is great but it just screams mediocre. Zach is worth wayy more money than Pascal btw. We have a chance to retool and restart and bulid a new identity in Toronto. But we keep adding useless pieces

  4. Masai doesn't pull the trigger like he used to, if I had a nickel for everytime Raps been in the trade talks for Superstars.

  5. Iā€™m a big Lavine fan but this would be an absolute terrible idea. The only way it would work is if it was with pascal and a third team or somthingšŸ˜Š

  6. Masai canā€™t handle the fact his team is stuck in the middle no matter who he trades. Time to commit to a rebuild.

  7. zach's contract is quite similar to what pascal will be making if we give him a supermax. so take your pick (we can't have both). this comes down to which player fits better in your system and right now, i believe zach could be a better fit. the quality between the two players is up for debate, though.

i would propose: zach and caruso for siakam and thad (no draft picks required with this trade). salaries line up pretty well. i don't think we have the room nor the desire to pay siakam the supermax next year anyways and he is likely to reject anything less and walk so what other options do we have? sign and trade perhaps but the sooner we move on the better it is for scottie's development and the success of the team. do we really want to waste another season and a half deliberating on the future? zack and barnes will likely play well together so it is worth a shot.

  8. can we somehow work a deal for Flynn, Poetel, and Siakim for Levine and a couple decent players. Whatever we do, we need to keep OG

  9. Z L + Alex C = PS + Thad + M Flynn. Then you send GTJ for needed depth some expire and 1 med round first pick.

  10. Do it. Shake it up. A deal that's basically Siakam for Lavine. Yes, Pascal's contract is expiring, but the Raps would be on the hook for Lavine's contract.

  11. I wonder if the bulls would be willing to throw in Patrick Williams. He has been really bad. But thereā€™s hope there. Maybe they say f it, let move on from him. If itā€™s Levine, Patrick Williams for bouchier/Gary / thad / 3 second round picks and one first in 2028. I might do it. But only if pascal is then traded to another team to restock assets. We need to stop kidding ourselves. This team as constructed canā€™t win deep into the playoffs. The scoring droughts are too bad. Maybe Levine helps with that, sureā€¦ but either way someone has to go. Especially in a trade like this. The writing is on the wall. This is Scottie and OGS team. Itā€™s time to move on from pascal and get what we can.

  12. Also itā€™s gotta be saidā€¦ in this new offence. It really doesnā€™t suite poetel. I hope he grows into it. I really like yak. But he looks really out of place sometimes. Itā€™s still early. And the paint is to clogged. Making it hard for yak, and harder for Scottie.

  13. I agree in a vacuum pascal is better than Levine. But we need a guy like Levine. But it would be nice if he was making 30 million, not 40+. I still believe the move is to trade pascal and yak and build through the draft. Maybe call San Antonio back and see if they want yak for our 2024 pick back haha. He would be perfect beside wemby
