[Spears] Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said Draymond Green went “too far” for choking Rudy Gobert for several seconds and it was a “bad look” for the NBA. Kerr added that Green “has to find a way to not cross the line… for a physical act of violence. That’s inexcusable.”

Does he think Draymond broke the code or does that only apply to people that don’t play for the Warriors?

  2. Sn33kykitty

Bout time he said something like this

  3. nicklovin508

Probably told Draymond he had to say this 🤷‍♂️

  4. Respectable_mouse

I’m pretty sure someone above Steve Kerr told him to make this statement. Steve probably wanted Draymond to squeeze harder

With what Kerr has been through in his life – It has to wear on him to have to back his guy, when he doesn’t at all support or condone their actions.

  6. You’ve let this fester for years, Kerr.

  7. MyLadySansa

Yeah you helped create this monster, FrankenKerr

  8. TheSonofMrGreenGenes

You can’t say nothing for years and make excuses the last few days then suddenly act like you give a shit. How is anyone supposed to take him seriously?

  9. What, did someone finally get chewed out by the higher-ups?

  10. blakeley

What’s Kerr gonna do about it? Send Dray to the Wizards?

  11. rich-roma

damn maybe kerr actually didnt see it at the time

  12. musicnothing

He’s only saying this because Rudy called him out

  13. FuschiaKnight

Yeah he choked a guy but at least he didn’t break the code.

  14. Pumpoozle

Adam Silver finally had a word with him

I hope he sees how many people are surprised by his statement to really understand how much of a dickhead he’s been for enabling this behavior for years

I told you. Draymond is obviously over the hump. Kerr gonna start holding him to standards now. Sometimes. When it’s obvious.

  17. Gristle__McThornbody

Must have done a focus group to find out if it’s okay to speak out against Green.

There’s nothing that he could say outside of calling Dray a bitch and challenging him to a fist fight on the spot that would have made people here satisfied. I wonder what the warriors culture is like because even guys like Steph never seem too surprised by Dray doing stupid shit on repeat.

A physical act of violence? Like maybe punching your teammate?

  20. menusettingsgeneral

Maybe this will settle down the horde of Kerr haters in this sub.

  21. DHNCartoons

Good for you Stephen! Way to stand out!

  22. mmaguy123

Kerr’s political side realized he needs PR

  23. left_over_croissant

He is a Habitual line stepper

  24. A-Confused-Comet

Adam Silver or Joe Biden made a call to Kerr it seems

  25. Raddish3030

Man, this is a reminder to go watch some Malice in the Palace clips.

  26. everyonegetopineyike

Aka Silver said something to the org

  27. RyyKarsch

I really like Kerr but his leash for Draymond has been a part of the problem. I understand he’s your guy, but eventually he’s hurting your team, being a constant distraction, and creating a terrible image.

I’d rather hear about Curry’s start or the potential Podziemski has and instead we’re once again talking about a Draymond ejection / suspension.

  28. TaliFrost

He crossed the line, but did he break the code?

  29. chriskot123

Little different tone after the punishment get’s handed out eh Steve?
