This is the first time any team has had 20+ steals in a game since the LA Clippers on Oct. 25, 2021 vs. POR.

I mean, that is an incredible statistic. Brown's coaching on the defensive end has been spectacular this year, improvements from every player, active hands that obstruct passes but do not reach and foul, just an absolutely smothering defense against the Lakers.

Lakers need to separate themselves from the idea that itβs Brons team. Yes he is pretty much the face of the NBA but he doesnβt have much longer in the league and tbh the Lakers will need to build their own identity the way the Kings have done so. The franchise will panic if he retires/leaves the team because AD/Russell/Reaves are not enough to carry this team.
