Caruso is great but he isn’t going to move the needle for us much if we’re using Cam or Vando for POA defense. There’s a lot of redundancy there.

AD Bron Rui Cam DLO (Rui’s scoring and defense will help Bron out a ton if its used right and his starting means he can get going early which will put him in a good rhythm throughout the game.)

Wood Vando Prince Reaves Caruso
I’d fix the lineups I think that Reaves and Rui can do that even Cam. Reaves was getting to the whole a lot more and bringing rim pressure, especially after last year’s trade.
I think this also helps Austin and DLO because you essentially surrounding them with size and defense every which way so they can’t be exploited. I would then have AD play the 4 most of the time he isn’t starting or finishing the games playing with Wood throughout.

I think we are sorely missing Dennis. His defence was good and he created rim pressure. We are also missing one of tbj/Lonnie who could be a spark off the bench. I’m interested to see the fit when vando and Vincent comeback. Seems like Vando’s return is on the horizon, so that’s good. If Vincent takes too long it’s worrying because we only have 2 capable guards right now and are playing prince at the 2 to support. Hopefully we can sign or trade for a decent guard. I feel that’s what we are missing. Someone like Tyus jones would be amazing

The Lakers biggest issue is the same as last year. They do not have a legitimate big man who can rebound and keep the other bigs from dominating the paint. AD is great but not strong enough to keep Jokic from getting anything he wants.
