They cannot win with these Point Sochan lineups. Full stop. This is flat out losing us games.
I understand if the impetus is to grow with these players, but I think Pop’s first sentiment is right; they need to learn how to win, and not starting Tre Jones has tanked the fucking season.
Pop said they need to learn how to win – then either try to start winning and play a reasonable lineup or admit to tanking again. In any other circumstance, play like this would get a player benched. Stop coddling them.

When the team isnβt executing on fundamentals, thatβs on Pop.
Youth isnβt an excuse here, these are professional basketball players. Defensive lapses, difficulties inbounding and sloppy offense is inexcusable.

I do think this is a good time to remind people that at this time last season the number one and number two seeds in the west, and two of the best teams in general in the league, where the Portland trail blazers and the New Orleans pelicans.
