Kristaps Porzingis and Jaylen Brown spoke to the media following the Celtics 108-105 win over the Raptors. Brown expressed frustration with the NBA’s in-season tournament court after tweaking his groin late in the 4th.
“I slipped. That’s it. I slipped. I think I might have strained my groin a little bit. We’ll see how it feels, but the court was just slippery all game. I think as players we’re all here for the in-season tournament because it’s going to generate revenue, excitement, competition, but we’ve got to make sure the floor is safe to play on. We can’t put our players out there and risk their health. Tonight I thought the floor was unacceptable. I think guys were slipping all over the place, not just me.”

These courts are inexcusable. Not only are they an eye sore that look horrible on TV and in person, but they've proven to be slippery and dangerous. Watch any game on them, you will see how many uncharacteristic slips there are. Guys are wiping out left and right. All of this for a dumb in season tournament.
JB doesn't look happy. I am guessing because he knows his groin is gonna keep him out for a bit and how unnecessary it was.

It's wild, this kind of risk, so that the ugliest floors on earth can make the games hard to watch on tv. A colossal turd by the league, they have to pull the floors. Keep the jerseys, keep the tourney, but the floors are wiping out max contract guys, early in season. Nightmare stuff.
