Knicks EXPECTED To Pursue LETHAL Three-Point Shooter | Knicks News

The New York Knicks are having a good start to the NBA season after starting out slow Winning five of their last six games. But one of the main issues is that other than Brunson Randall and Barrett the Knicks really don’t have another consistent scorer especially one who can shoot the three ball very well. However, according to multiple NBA sources the New York Knicks are expected to pursue a lethal 3-point shooter. The same player that they tried to trade for at the trade deadline last year. Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

  1. Hell yeah…. I’ll make this deal as long as it’s Fournier and a second round !! Remember Bogan is already 34. A first round makes no sense.. however; this deal would elevate the Knicks floor spacing and allow randle to bang more down lo, instead of forcing 3’s in a close game… Bogan would be the darling of the city, like Novakain was in the early 2000’s. 😂

  2. Rose will leave without making a Move…All the available players fits well with other Teams but Bad for the Knicks…think about it

  3. I like this pickup because if Randle is hurt, we have no true PF backup. I would make this trade, Ivey and Boban for IQ and Fournier. Throw in another bench Warner too if needed but no FRDPs

  4. Every trade depends on the price . I like jerami grant feel we could get him give us another scorer and defender . Og from toronto but i don't see us trading with them because of lawsuit. Whats really going on with rj missing that many days because of a migraine. ?

  5. Knicks should hire JJ REDICK as there 3 point shooter trainer that dude would make the knicks a top 5 team in 3 pointers there already capable of being a top 5 team in generating 3s we just need to knock them down

  6. Honestly I’m giving them Evan and the wizards first round pick. And maybe a second as well if I have to. I’m not giving them McBride tbh he looks really good and his 3 point shooting is getting better

  7. Bojan Bogdanovic You must be joking. He is Fournier without the handle. They are the same height. Fournier has a career of 371% three point percentage. Bojan Bogdanovic is 6'7 in sneakers like Fournier.

  8. Let's get him!!!! Great shooter!! Good fit!!! Make the trade… We send all our drafted guys to the g league …They get no burn….

  9. Doubt this happens for various reasons. Bojan isn’t known to be a quality defender. Idk that situation changes for the better at 34 years old and coming off of an injury that has kept him out all season. He also has another year on his contract at over 20 mil. That could hurt the Knicks financially this summer going into next season. Then there’s Thibs 9 man rotation. Bojan isn’t better than any of the rotation guys and there isn’t enough playing time available to go w 10. Tbh we’re better off just holding onto Fournier or finding a cheaper/less pt demanding option. Fwiw Reggie Bullock ain’t playing much in Houston. He’s a Thibs guy, versatile defender, floor spacer and he’s on a much smaller short term deal.

  10. Even though Bogdon's career 3 pt percentage is 38.6%, that dude can't hit a 3 with 2:00 or less on the clock, and we already got that buried on the bench in Fournier…Knicks don't have to do one goddamn thing except for getting Grimes and Fournier sorted…Those guys get it together and we're the best team in the league right now!!!…Be patient my friend, next years haul will bring us 2 rings if we can just keep Dolan in the closet:)

  11. If he doesn't play defense… he's not coming to the Knicks. Plus… who's spot us he going to take? I think this is a waste of time to talk about.

  12. I’ve been enjoying these vids but with all due respect, I couldn’t disagree more. I’ve been a Knick fan for a long time and it seems like every iteration of this team since the Ewing days has a guy that everyone talks about as some potential high value expiring contract that teams will trade for to get cap room and we never get anything for them. Recent history have shown us how much teams value those protected picks. Just because they are in the first round doesn’t make them prize picks. Most drafts are top heavy and the difference in talent often flattens out at some point in the later first round. A lot of GMs would rather get a high 2nd rounder than a low first at a higher salary scale. We have a ton of these picks and have tried to throw them at teams but no one wants 10 dimes when they could just get a dollar bill in another deal. If we can meet two major needs with a back up PF who is also an elite shooter who can stretch the floor for our glutton of attack the basket offensive players for the price of a player we don’t play and no one else wants and a pick that teams are meh about, I take that deal and run.
