Great point; no more debating who’s better. They are both incredibly important to the teams success. And another great point about plus minus. T same thing can be said about “crunch time” and the point differential in some circumstances like this one. At just after the 3 minute mark we are up 9 but they hit a 3. From there; we lost by 3, one of which was a crazy shot with 3 seconds, but end d up winning the game by 3 with some big shots. We didn’t play at a -6 point differential in crunch time being my point.
Shout out to Flex. He said Book would get 10+ assists and y'all didn't believe it in the pregame. Flex only got Book and KD points opposite. Lets Go Suns!!
I'm glad they are sitting Bradley Beal until he's 100% or as close to it as he's going to get.
The most important thing over the course of the next 3 weeks while we're waiting for him is to develop team chemistry.
It's like everyone in the country has forgotten that the Phoenix Suns have almost 100% turnover from last year. I'm liking a lot of the pieces we've picked up. Grayson Allen has been nothing short of spectacular so far and doesn't care whether he starts or comes off the bench. Kevin Durant has been a monster.
Tonight I think the jazz played their hearts out. There were a lot of shots taken that were heavily contested and just went in. On any other night against almost any other team. I think the jazz would have won by 20. But they just couldn't compete with the offensive firepower of a healthier Suns team.
Those of us in Phoenix have known how special Devin Booker is for almost a decade now. Most of the people who hate on him are on the east coast and never stay up late enough to watch him play.
KD knows how special book is, he's been a fan of his for years, they have become friends since the Olympics. He only wanted to come to Phoenix to play with book. They are magic together.
Think we should start a trend for co-mvps. Book and KD for MVP together!!!
I would love to see the lineup of KD, Booker, Josh Okogie, Goodwin & Eubanks for a defensive unit that can still play high level offense. It doesn't have to be the starting lineup, I would just like to see this lineup. They can balance offense and defense better.
