  1. The Jaden Springer Victory Tour has begun! Great cuts, finds the open space, 3’s will drop, gets to the rim, crashes the glass, brings energy and is fun to watch.

One of the few highlights in the FTC game was watching Tatum try to backdown Springer then shoot over him like he was doing with Melton and Springer wouldn’t budge from every single Tatum bump.

  2. He’s always in the mode to get back and play transition defense.

It’s nice to have that back now that we got rid of the corpse of PJ Tucker, a geriatric Harden, and a fat Georges Niang.

  3. Melton solid for letting him get this two points off that steal

One of those blocks came off his own turnover

And that play of him saving the ball actually went to an opponent hands who hit a 3

One of those grown man rebounds led to a miss second shot attempt

And ya that end basket was melton padding his stats

This wasn’t really a springer victory tour game.

They missed his really nice assist where he got all the way to the rim and dumped it off and he had another really nice drive where he got to the rim and passed to a wide open corner 3 which was bricked. He can pass a bit too. Great system player in the making

Great game, fast forward to Batum being back and he’s out the rotation

  7. The kid has got motor, I’ll give him that. Locked Ice Trae up in the deep freezer. Give me high energy athletic guys off the bench who can play above the rim any day.

Tired of watching slow sixers basketball. This team is a pleasure to watch.

Defensive wing depth?!?! On the Sixers?!?! In the year of our lord 2023?!?! In this economy?!?!

  9. There have been so many games in my memory in the last five years where we’ve been cooked by smaller guards (Kemba Walker/Bradley Beal/Trae) – having a guy who can lock down at point of attack on the 6’1” guards is a new tool for us and will be good for 3/4 regular season wins. He’s unlikely the missing piece on a championship roster but he’s definitely an exciting rotation addition IMHO.

Interesting point I hadn’t thought of: he’s strong enough to finish through significant contact. His cutting can be a real weapon

This kid can grow into being one of the best defensive guards in the league

Springer is strong as a bull. Mfer built like a running back

  13. He’s working his ass off every second he’s on the court, great to see

Give me 10 points, 2 3PM, 5 boards, 2 stocks every game and I’m happy
