  1. It's OK to lose Victor don't worry you won't be losing a lot anymore as you get to know the system.
It's not you because you played great in the last 3 games but still lost the game.

    Go Spurs Go !

  2. You know if this team was older like past spurs teams have been would everyone be so quick to overreact with their outrage and expectations because at that point when they all are older they will have more years and experience playing together 🤷🏾‍♂️🤔

  3. If you do not abandon the 3pt attempt, you will not win. This is NBA, use your advantage length to reach the rim…

  4. Pop needs to teaches guys how to get fouled in the fourth quarter so they can control the game. That's all Memphis did in the fourth quarter is draw fouls. I hate that type of basketball cuz that's not basketball but does it lead to wins Yes it does. For me if I go up on two people knowing that I have no chance to make a shot then that's considered a bad shot not a foul whenever I bump into them. These dudes will jump into the defender and the defender will get called for a foul which is some bullshit. They need to just get through the season and get rid of a bunch of those players cuz I feel like a lot of them aren't looking the wind they're just looking to get their points.

  5. I know if they play Spurs basketball and they have already they just need that confidence back but the Spurs have experienced many loosing streaks throughout their history it is all about playing SPURS BASKETBALL this is also just an experiment POP is letting them freestyle so it is going to be interesting

  6. Itsokay, they choke 4th quarter hard but at least we went from losing by 20+ point to 10 ish thats positive✊

  7. I feel for Victor having to debrief every game: he had never played every other day before – in France a regular season is 34 games -, he has to learn an all new pace, an all new championship, an all new level, and he gets to do all the interviews like he were a veteran.

  8. Spurs need a trade. Period. Try to pry Alex Caruso away, sign a vet like Dragic, change the starting lineup — do something. Wemby can't be inoculated to all this losing under THIS spotlight. This isn't the same old Spurs team from years' past w/no scrutiny, even wen they were winning. Last year's team could afford to lose like this, no one. bttted an eye. This team has the whole NBA/world watching. Magnifies the losing.

  9. They've competed the last few games. We'll be alright. We're not used to having this young of a roster and all the growing pains that go with it. I hear some saying we need to make a trade , but I don't see how that will help. We either get a good veteran or two (at what costs) and they get us to be a middle of the road team at best, or we go after a couple of young players that are playing good/great, but then they have to learn and fit into our system. Either way our young core needs time to grow and learn.

Buying or trading for short term wins is a bad idea. This is like David Robinson joining a veteran team and elevating our status and then Timmy coming into a very good team that just needs a piece or two and getting almost instant success. I agree, maybe not all the current guys are a good fit, but the team (coaches and staff) will figure that out at various points along the way.

We're just used to almost a quarter century of winning (1990-2018 or so) and being near a title each year. I've been watching since about 1979 and we had some good teams back then. This is new territory for everyone, fans to Spurs management.

    GO SPURS GO!!!

  10. He seems to be taking it well. He knows he's in good hands with Pop and the organization. I think in the next few months they'll figure out the guard situation and they'll start turning it around. I'm hoping for at least a .500 season in the end. That's realistic.

  11. I’m trusting the system…but not gonna lie, it’s so frustrating to watch our Spurs like this. Yea it was a back to back, but having the youngest team in the league is making me wanna pull my hair out nightly. I can only imagine how Pop feels.
I hope our squad is taking this personally, and learning to hate losing.

  13. We have a really young team, however because we got the #1 draft choice teams wanna take us down even more so. But Wembys maturity is an awesome quality & the BEST is yet to come. Puro Spurs 4 Life!!!!

  14. wemby, stop listening to the idiots, the haters and the noobs (many in youtube comments), stay patient, keep being mature (like in this press conf), dont get too down or too high, keep experimenting and learning, improving a bit better each game/day, follow pop and ull be a winner and have a great career….GUA-RAN-TEE

  15. 2:33
This brotha continues to be a class act!! He’s furthering the Spurs legacy by being the consummate teammate in times where he could easily make disparaging comments.

  16. God bless they just keep coming out flat in 2nd halves. I know they're young, but it's tough when they show so much promise and then can't close.
