  1. Can’t even get a triple double. It’s time we talk about Embiid.

  2. Wakandaforever456

Tyrese Maxey is the Most Improved Player of the Year and an All Star this year.

  3. I’m liking this Embiid and Maxey splitting play making duties dynamic that’s going on.

  4. Itezguatitez

I loved Nurse rotation in the second half. Whenever Oubre is back, he should be getting every Pat and Danuel house. Maybe Covington too. But please don’t take Jaden springer out of the rotation. He has all the tools to be an elite perimeter defender.

Also, I’ll be cool with Marcus Morris not getting a single minute from here on. He’s beyond washed. Ask any Clippers fan their opinion on him. He’s the guy I did not want coming from La no matter what. He sounds braindead in every single interview he does and we’ll be better off releasing him.

  5. Embiid has one bad game and this entire fanbase turns on him. Just ridiculous. Wonder how many of those clowns are talking now.

  6. Remember when the Sixers would play all-bench line ups before garbage time? I don’t miss those days.

  7. ApoTheAnswer

When melton shoots well he’s an important piece. If only he could be consistent…

  8. Big props to Melton. He’s been an absolute flamethrower this season.

  9. DeliciousScallion208

I don’t even know what trade we should make, if any. Just waiting to get Kelly back and it could be sooner than we expect.

  10. It’s always nice to play the Nets because we get the occasional shot of Simmons on the bench in street clothes looking sad.

  11. Icy_Comparison_5920

Brooklyn trade us mikal we’ll give you the first and second round picks all of them lol

  12. My kids first full length NBA game. He’s also a huge Eagles fan. Boy are they setting and impossible standard. He’s gonna think it’s always like this. Anyway great win against a not terrible Nets team. Springer victory tour continues!

  13. clickstops

I know they didn’t have Cam Thomas or Ben but they do not look like much of a team. This was the first I’ve watched them for more than a few minutes this year.

Loved the extended Springer minutes. And Melton having a good night. And Batum being back. And Joel. And Maxey. Lots to love. Chill game.

  14. BerzeliusWindrip

It feels like there are two entirely separate subreddits on here sometimes, one that participates when we’re winning and Joel is playing well, and one that participates when we’re losing and Joel and/or Tobi are playing poorly. I legit think it’s actually like mostly two distinct groups of people with some overlap.

What does the negative squad do when we’re winning? Just be stewing that they have to wait another couple days to potentially shit on the team and propose insane scenarios like trading Embiid for Julius randle or some shit.

  15. Continuing the undefeated record in games with Nico Batum

  16. LordLucasSixers

Melton got tired of some of you talking shit!

  17. the B in the middle of their court represents the tier of player they filled their roster with 🅱️

  18. PessimistSixersFan

Great win! Double double for TMax and a near triple for Embiid!

Glad Springer is getting more minutes hope that doesn’t stop, and T Max has been 1-3 makes from having a great FG% in the last few games, he’s so so close (was less passive today at least, 20 attempts is nice to see)

  19. economist_

    Awesome!

Couldn’t watch the game, but saw we basically sealed the win in the third quarter. Why was Maxey still playing 36 minutes?

  20. PantherGod772

The Maxey and Embiid two man game has been beautiful. You can also see the improved passing chops from both. It was clearly an area of emphasis for both of them this off-season and while I’m no expert on the Nets defensive rotations, I think this game is a particularly promising showing because of the lengthy personnel the Nets have on defense. They have physical tools to disrupt passing lanes and get deflections, but our two stars had their timing locked down when moving the ball to avoid heavy turnovers.
