I think Chet will also be a MVP-caliber player in 5 to 10 years, wrestling the award back and forth from Wemby in that time.

Ausar has been a beast on defense. If Detroit can help him develop his offensive game, that dude is going to be a real fucking problem.

Ausar averaging 10 rebounds as a rookie guard is crazy. He is such a good feel for the game already. I could see him and Wemby battling for some DPOYs in the future.

He’s been the most productive all-around rookie, though his offensive efficiency hasn’t been great. Chet is the only one with a good argument to overtake him(better efficiency and on a better team, though maybe that is why he has been more efficient).

If Wemby can improve his shot selection, I think that will give him enough of an efficiency bump to secure ROY. Lot of season left, of course.
