  1. Firing kid is a great way to disgruntle the players y’all. There’s only so much Kidd can do to guard bigs with the current roster. Everything he said made sense. Mavs have had two back to back sequences (4 games total, two back to back in a row). Let the boys rest and come back for some Lakers!

  2. I dont blame Kidd for the lack of size on the roster or the inconsistent effort defensively. What I do blame him for is poor rotations, not letting younger guys get some run when things clearly arent working, poor timeout timing when the other team makes a run, defensive scheming, not challenging plays enough, and leaning too much into stagnant offense. I do think the Mavs will be better with a different coach, but a midseason firing has the potential to do a whole lot more harm than good. If the bottom falls out and things actually look hopeless (which it is objectively not right now. You are insane if you think so) then we can cut the cord and move on. Otherwise I think it's probably best to let the year play out then make a call depending on how things turn out.

  3. Powell needs to be benched. Add Holmes to the mix. At least he has a toughness to him. Dallas is lacking that. Luka also looks gassed out. Super slow and no energy.

  4. Can’t do anything against bad matchups. And lively is not the savior everybody wants him to be. At least not right away. Team needs to grow. Another decent big man is needed.

  5. The team looked tired. They were in Milwaukie last night, played well, but were robbed by the refs; flew back to Dallas and played today a good Sacremento team, who had a day of rest after playing San Antonio, which is like having two days of rest with not much travel on Saturday. Sacramento was rested; Dallas was not and they were just robbed in Milwaukie! I think this loss is no reason to panic. If my reasoning is correct, now would be a good time to put some money on Dallas to beat the Lakers in LA on Wednesday. Lakers will be playing the second day of a back to back, and Dallas two days of rest, coming off a loss. I think this loss is easily explained by the tough schedule with travel the last couple days. No need to fire the coach. It isn't his fault.

  6. Early in the season. Its best to get exposed now then at the end of the season. We have the pieces, we just missing timely open 3pts. Need stops on command on crutch time. We'll be champs this year.
