Lavine is a clear upgrade over Herro. Herro is an inefficient ball-stopper who gets hurt every user. Yes he has big nights but the upgrade would be huge

I say we go for it! Zach Lavine trade value has never been lower and I'm very certain he can get back to that 25pts odd 50% if traded here. A Zach, Bam, Jimmy big 3 is pretty formidable

Zach's not that much of an upgrade over Herro tbh. The one guy we should be chasing, if we're dealing with Chicago, is Alex Caruso at PG.
If they can swipe Caruso without losing Herro, then we'll end up with one of the better backcourt duos in the league, imo.
If we get a pg or two with Zach, I might be fine with herro and something else
No we should wait and see what Donovan Mitchell does in Cleveland then id offer Herro for Mitchell but Lavine isn't worth giving up Herro for unless we get more in the package like Caruso and a pick then maybe

W – Miami is a good enough team to win games with out Tyler but it’s like having insurance. If the team can’t get a bucket and has a terrible quarter where they go completely cold offensively which happens every game, when Bam and Jimmy rest Tyler usually keeps us a float in those moments and obviously gives us more offensive firepower not to mention he’s dramatically improved as a defender this season. We are great at winning close games because of our defense but If Jimmy has an off night we’re gonna need another consistent 3 level scorer and closer. Yes we have guys that can step up like Duncan, Jaime, Caleb, and Kyle but It’s not going to happen every night. Duncan recently reached that point of being consistent scorer and though he’s improved, won’t always able to create his own shot. Tyler scores at will and is almost guaranteed to score 23 points or more which makes us that much better. It’s the difference between winning by the skin of our teeth or by a blowout. We dominate these games up until the 4 quarter and if we offensively run out of gas, that’s where Herro shines
