Time to face facts. Cade ain’t him. His shooting percentages are the exact same in all 3 of his seasons. Zero improvement. He’s just not an efficient player . This is who he is and who he’s going to continue to be. Combine that with his increased sloppiness with the ball. That is not a #1 guy on a winning team. He’s a below average NBA athlete who struggles to finish near the rim and he can’t even get to 33% on 3’s. Cade ain’t him.

I haven’t paid close enough attention to Cade’s drives but I wonder what the percentages are of Cade driving and kicking out to a teammate vs driving to score?
I will also try to pay more attention to see if he’s fading away or avoiding contact vs attacking and powering through his defender on his paint scoring attempts.

I hate monty williams. Yall clearly arent looking at shooting splits. Umude is our best 3p shooter at 56%. Knox is the 2nd best 3p shooter. Cade has one of the worst percentages from the field on our team. He's 40%. He's 31% from 3. This cade hype train needs to be closely looked at. Why is asur in the game when we need a three?

I done with this Beef Stew experiment. Because he hits a occasional 3 but he can't hit a shoot anywhere else, please play Knotts instead at lease he can shoot from other places on the floor. Cade can't finish at the basket and his shoot is terrible for a number 1 pick at guard.

Another inherited NBA draft issue – I have absolutely zero confidence these one and done players will translate to NBA success. As an example – players like Jonathan Kuminga, Jalen Green, Cade Cunningham, Scoot Henderson, Jabari Smith, James Wiseman, and Brandon Miller come to mind. NONE of these players are remotely ready because they are grossly unprepared and lack experience.
