COACHING.
TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! What a disgrace !! Losing in OT to a 3-9 team is atrocious!! In addition, we saw what I call him, No TO Joe, Not having Porzingis in on that last play where LaMelo tied the game, playing Jalen over Pritchard when Jaylen clearly didn’t have it tonight and then watching him shoot a horrible 30 foot contested three pointer to tie the game. You’re not going beat good teams with these bad tendencies going forward.
Alllright, there is #1. Joe Mazz seems to cost the Celtics between 3-5 games each year thus far, and this was the first for 23-24. I get wanting the guys to "play through" and "figure it out" when its a regular season back to back in November, but on the other hand, you just pissed away a great game from Tatum/Pritchard for what? Sitting on those timeouts the final 3 minutes of the game as they blow the 9 point lead was honestly inexcusable. If you're Pritch/Tatum you've got to be dejected after that one.
Also honorable mention to JB/Holiday. Not sure who played worse, JB with his 29% FG shooting or Holiday with his 7 TOs. Infuriating.
PP and the bench were cooking and they let the starters back in who were obviously tired and not boxing out. Horrible coaching from Joe. This was the game to ride PP.
bottom line you miss that many free throws you arent going to win it has been a problem in every game and doesn’t look like its going to get any better
Coaching cost Celtics again. This may be detrimental in the big moments in May, and June.

Joe should call the timeouts. He need not always defer to the players to close the game. He is the head coach for the reason that he has to manage the game.

When PP, Luke, Brisset are putting the game away, how the hell did Mazz insert Brown, Hauser and Jrue just to give away the lead? He could have played them till they maintain or increased the lead. Just a stupid move by the very proud coach!!!,😡

Absolutely ridiculous!!! I thought this team was going to run away with the East two weeks ago. Now I'm not so sure. We played pretty shitty and almost lost to Toronto and Memphis and we played shitty tonight and lost to Charlotte. We could of lost the last 3 games and were lucky we didn't. I don't know what's going on with this team to be honest but ya have White missing 3 out of the first 14 games and he's not even hurt. This team is trending downward and I am very concerned because I'm starting to see a pattern. They def need to make a couple moves before the trade deadline.

This team has not been ready the last 3 games…..This is on Joe Mazzula in terms of mental preparation….If someone is not going to play their hardest, then sit on the bench and let someone who wants to play on the floor. This team plays down to the opposition and is not efficient.

It was a back to back game, they played like it, maybe a little tired. Free-throw in the end was bad. But we're not expecting Celtics to win every game but they should win the game they're supposed to. Next game is going to be tough statement game. start another 6-7 game winning streak.
Tatum and Pritchard did all they could, everyone else had a subpar game. They should of lost to Memphis and I was HOPING they would be different then previous years and come out in BEAST MODE as we are 5 to 10x more talented then Charlotte. They need to really box out, mass rebound and get back to defense. How with Holiday and White Ball got over 15 is beyond me. Hope they acknowledge this game as crap and get back to destroying these types of bad and mediocre teams…..
