  1. I feel the same way you do Bulls Central the same way. I said when the new management came in that they should have traded Zach, I feel they should never give up draft capital Unless you are getting a star..

  2. I agree with you that Zach shouldn't never been put in the position of a to be a face of the franchise guy, he was never that, at best he's a #3 option on a contending team!!

But I believe was the biggest mistake was not continuing to build through the draft, I think the front office got very impatient and traded for Vucevic who I believe was a " empty calories stats player" in Orlando! If Vucevic was such a great player why weren't they hell bent on keeping him? We should've took our time and just built through the draft, a lot folks don't want to hear that, I don't care! Now we are just stuck with a bunch of guys and no real direction!

And we should've either hired Tyrone Lue or Mark Jackson as our coach !!

  3. I think The Timeline starts when Jimmy wanted 48mill for 4yr N BULLS only offered 44mill.
Jimmy took a chance on himself, was paid 95mill for 5 yr..
    Then… the unthinkaBull…
They Traded 27yr old Jimmy Butler.

  4. The biggest mistake was trading away Derrick Rose, another mistake was accelerating the rebuild, we could have actually been good with home brew talent, but instead front office was impatient

  5. I totally agree. Zach is a good player but not someone you can build a championship caliber team. He's obviously not a Jordan or Pippin, he's not a Butler, a D. Rose, a Chris Paul. a Steph Curry, etc. His character can't even carry his own abilities let alone that of a team. But Zach would be a better player with Lonzo Ball and his Bball IQ. And the mistakes of the front office point the team's failure in their court. One Zach is gone, can we really expect them to make good choices. The Bulls, the White Sox, the Bears – Chi fans have a lot to whine about.

  6. You're supposed to make your best player Happy, My thing is, we get this front office that don't fully evaluate decisions, The decision that they make are so one dimensional, when at the end of the day it's layers that need to be pilled back

  7. Finally!!! Thank you. I been saying signing Zach was a mistake than giving Billy D an extension was the second mistake. Look at SGA already has better leadership and understanding of the game than Zach.

  8. I appreciate your opinion but I don’t agree.
In my opinion, this FO failed when they hired Donovan as head coach followed by the drafting of Patrick Williams.
Building around Zach isn’t the issue, it was poor decisions made around that decision. Deciding to hire a coach that had no NBA success followed by selecting a player who was a sixth man on his college roster and selecting him with the #4 pick ahead of players that clearly fit the need of the team (Haliburton and Maxey)…and subsequent bad decisions were made following those decisions.
    Complete Front Office Malpractice.

  9. Yeah, if say yall got LeBron a proven winner or say Luka, an undeniable generational talent, you do build around them and speed up the process of competing, but Lavine? Not a proven winner nor considered a generational talent, it made no sense when news broke out that Bulls front office consider Lavine as their franchise player. Maybe as a pillar of potentially a good team, but man, idk if it was delusional from front office or incompetence not being able to realize Zach is not a no.1. Maybe a no.2 but realistically is a no.3 option.

  10. Zach's value was pretty high recently after philly traded Harden away and got all those picks from the clippers. Could have had probably all those picks along with Tobias Harris's expiring for Zach but now that seems unlikely. I dont trust Akme's drafting though. Probably have to go the way of getting young players from teams who arent being utilized correctly which in todays nba there are a plethora of them.

  11. For some reason I see thngs differently, even though it was a great mistake to give that contract to Lavine, the problem with the Bulls to me is that the reason why they haven't been the same without Lonzo Ball is because in reality the Team was built Arond Ball and not Lavine, cause if the team was built around Lavine then one player (Ball) cannot make this huge of a hole for two years and the team keeps getting worse, go figure

  12. To me, this feels almost exactly like the Patrick Williams situation. Williams felt he was worth a lot of money and this year should have been the year he came out to prove it–which he hasn't. Lavine is in a similar one because he should be proving to the Bulls why he's worth keeping. Not only that, but as you said, if he put all the outside news in the back of his head and just played, it would raise his stock. It would raise it in the front office to keep him, it would raise his stock in trading him so we'd get the best value too.

The same goes for Williams, if he just balled, it would improve his value in the front office to keep him and be able to get more for trading him.

I guess I'm just saying if the players focused on leaving it all on the floor, things would work out, whether it meant us keeping them cause they're showing their worth/value or it helps us get a better return for trading them.

They're still my team no matter what though.

  13. I don’t agree with this the bulls didn’t mess up by trying to bring in Zach help. They messed up bringing in the wrong help. Vuc an demar are not winning players, and never have been, what have they won of meaning in the nba? vuc played on a poor team an put up empty stats. That translates too what’s going on. It’s a reason B/R made a article saying demar was the worst signing he was a bad fit next too Zach from the start. You make it seem like they brought in talent that complements Zach, besides zo. Vuc an demar don’t help Zach, too many poor defenders now your asking Zach too be an all world scorer/ defender that’s not fair you asking him too be jordan, just because he’s the highest paid doesn’t mean he has to do things he didn’t do before he got paid Lavine was never a good defender now you expect him to be one in year ten? No offensive oriented guard in the league is both besides prob ant edwards an that kid was the number 1 pick for a reason, Zach wasn’t a #1 pick, your blaming Zach for playing bad defense, demar an vuc are terrible on defense yet you make a video zachs the problem?! I used too think you were reputable now I see you got a agenda against Zach, that’s not fair while yea he’s not jordan or a good defender that’s ok up until now he’s done a great job being a bull top ten in franchise scoring, kids been a model citizen besides some stuff the media wants to blow up, meanwhile the bulls have only done him a disservice, hiring guys like jim boylin an billy Donovan and choosing too pay demar derozan 85 mil when they could’ve gave lauri 65-70, before you say lauri wasn’t happy that circles back too the vuc thing, a bad fit should’ve brought in more defensive players with 3& D ability too help lauri an Zach that’s the mistake not this nonsense blaming Zach.

  14. I disagree. The 2021 roster built around Zach was incredible. The run at the beginning of the season was no fluke. It all derailed when we lost Lonzo, but that's a different story.

  15. Lauri Markkanen was driven out of town after Vusevic landed in Chicago. That was the biggest misstake by AK.

  16. There's no way you can call this team "built for Zach" imo… I'm putting all the blame on FO and coaching! They do have their induvial flaws but that's on coaching to address and playing guys out of position every night will lead to failure on all ends! Every guy we picked 7th is gone and the 1 time we get a pick higher than 7 we take Patrick Williams who is a bust.. On top of all the injuries we deal with every year, there's no way I'm calling this the FOs biggest mistake.. biggest mistake was resigning this coach we have and taking Patrick Williams 4th

  17. Re-union with Lauri and Zach in Salt Lake City. Danny Ainge is on it. Bulls gets, Collins, Sexton, Tucker-Horton, one first and one second.

  18. We all know ur a lavine hater too allways zack demar has issues vooch has issues pwill never really had his chance coby is not a pg Billy is fucking horrible

  19. Resigning Billy Donovan to a secret, undisclosed extension was one of the biggest mistakes after one half season of success. You can’t fire the whole roster, you can change coaches. This franchise is a train wreck.

  20. I’ve never believed that Zach was going to be the guy. He just never had that “it” factor that a number 1 guy on a team has like Tatum, Embid, Giannis, Booker ect. He’s a great player that has skills but Zach would do so much better as a #2 or 3. Bulls place the bet on the wrong guy.

  21. I have no problem with them building around Zach because all of his flaws are fixable to a degree. The biggest mistake was signing then EXTENDING a coach that was clearly not good. Billy isn’t the worse coach I’ve seen, but watching him take out players when they’re cooking, not run catch and shoots for Zach, not develop young talent, and not have guys ready after 5 days off is annoying as hell. We have not seen. Single play in which Vooch or Demar is on a post up & throws a lob to Zach after a back cut? How do you not figure that out as a head coach?

I’m not saying Zach isn’t flawed but a lineup of Coby, Zach, Demar, Craig, and Vooch should work to a degree. It’s not hard to create an offense tailored to all of their strengths but Billy makes it fucking rocket science. The front office is tied in with Billy too so far. There were holes already with Lonzo present, if you address it before he gets back you don’t run into ALL of the same problems but they didn’t address it. Building around Zach isn’t the worst thing they’ve done. Hiring Billy and/or extending Billy was the worst thing

  22. Once we let our big three go it’s gonna be a while before we see that kind of taken in a bulls uniform again. I’m not looking forward to that and am in no rush to trade our guys unless it’s star for star

  23. Zach ain't a good #1 but he also can't take a back seat , when derozan was ballin out his body language was very poor

  24. Man you keep deleting that post where i drop the article when Chicago Matched Sacramentos offer for Zach back in 2018 – that is when this all started – I have been complaining ever since finally someone is listening besides my son LOL

  25. Thanks for the video. I think Zach is a great player. The Bulls made the mistake of trading for players that do not complement Zach's playing style, which is him being the center of the offense and scoring. And he can do it. Bulls fans have seen Zach score 30, 40 and 50 points. DeRozan and Vuce do not complement Zach's playing. I agree with many fans that trading Markkanen was a huge mistake and Lauri scored 38 the other night. Lonzo on the other hand was a great trade and worked really well for Zach's playing style. Anyway, forget about it. Billy should be the first one to go and then Zach, DeRozan and then Vuce. Reset time. Thanks.

  26. I was with you bro. Getting flack from fellow fans because of my stance on Lavine since last year. This seemed inevitable to me. Look at guys like John Collins- while clearly not the level of talent as Zach, he is a solid player who was in trade talks EVERY year of his career it seemed like. But he always handled it with poise and a tenacity to just play the game and block out the static. And from what I’ve seen he looks better this year than the last few. The swift and steady decline of Vuc on this team is also completely unprecedented. But Zach bro… woof. Who do yall see coming over realistically?

  27. I’m a Zach Stan don’t get me wrong, but he’s not a #1 option on a championship team. He’s getting paid the same as guys like Lebron, KD, Steph, Giannis, those guys have PROVEN it already.

  28. RUMORS:

According to @TheAthletic, Billy Donovan’s seat in Chicago is “very hot”.

When the Heat went up 22-1 in the 1st quarter, Donovan could’ve been out as soon as Saturday if the Bulls didn’t come back.

    (h/t: @nbatradecenter1)

  29. Zach is horrible. He very athletic, but not a pure hooper to me. Bball iq is very low, accountability is non existence, and he is not a Leader at all.
