we played like shit and still could’ve won if the refs didn’t give the cavs free points in the third. it is what it is…still overall a very shitty performance from our guys (which happens lmfao there are 82 fucking games!)

  2. stats_commenter

Strus perfecting the art of the shot after the buzzer

  3. RozayCheez

Can we hold embiid accountable? He dodged the 6th foul once, why would he try to trap and get his 6th foul right there? Dont forget garland grabbing the board over him

  4. SquashForDinner

Why does Embiid keep switching off Allen/Mobley to Garland whenever he penetrates? Garland just lobs it to Allen and Mobley everytime, no one else can contest that lob because no one is tall enough lol. Just trust that Melton or Maxey alter the shot.

  5. Anyone else think Maxey and Embiid both pass up way too many wide open looks in the two man game only to settle for worse, more congested looks later in the shot clock? Embiid more so than Maxey. Just shoot it when you are wide open.

  6. IhaveaHarden

Yall do realize players have off games, right?

Maxey got good looks and just couldn’t get them to go down. It happens. He will bounce back.

  7. 13Petrichor

What a horrible game. A few weird ref calls, questionable coaching decisions from Nurse (why the fuck is Morris still getting minutes?), some truly atrocious turnovers and poor shooting from most of the team, especially Maxey. I keep reminding myself that we’re missing a starter level player and have the assets to make good trades, but we really shouldn’t be losing games like this to teams like this when they’re down so many players.

  8. roosterdabooster

Happy that we fought back and almost won after being down 18 but playing 0 effort in the first half is unacceptable, it happened against Celtics and Pacers( game 2). We canā€™t expect to come back and win if we play with no effort.

  9. Some of you all are delusional. Saying Oubre is the reason we are struggling, we talking about Kelly?! I am not ready to call Maxey as 2nd option of a title team. I think he is still 3rd option for a title team. ok stone me now for speaking fax

  10. PointB1ank

The best part about the in-season tournament as a Sixer’s fan is that I get to not only be disappointed in the playoffs at the end of the season, but at the beginning now too!

  11. SomeGuyNamedJohn12

Canā€™t win them all. It is what it is. On to the next

  12. ranchsauce13

Just got perma banned from r/nba for sticking up for Maxey lol

  13. ArchegosCapitalCEO

Surely this year will be different and Morey will get us past the second round and lead us to the chip even though heā€™s never built a team that got to the finals. Why is this guy is considered a savant?

  14. Maxey efficiency last 5 games has been bad (40% FG).

Tonight 30 points on 28 shots.

    He needs to chill.

  15. Ixaax69420

Embiid is gonna have to decide at some point whether winning is actually what is important to him.

That shot he took at the end of regulation is a 34% shot at best. They couldā€™ve gotten a better shot

    But the fadeaway looks cool

Ok, if looking cool is the thing I guess itā€™s the thing

    But itā€™s not winning

  16. PessimistSixersFan

Damn wtf Springer only got 7 minutes?? That defense couldā€™ve probably been useful

  17. ArchegosCapitalCEO

Itā€™s okay guys our new coach has the same amount of rings as our old coach and Morey got us a second round exit just like Elton did before him. Weā€™re in better hands šŸ„°

  18. We played well enough just shot it poorly. Ref calling absolutely everything in the 1st half… for both teams though. On to the next

  19. Worldly-Fortune-802

Cut the Egalitarian bullshit and get Zack Lavine. Philly always trying “strength in numbers”

  20. icepickjones

I refuse to watch another game with a Van Gundy on the mic.

  21. wilsonallcounty

Jesus Christ r/nba is like r/nbacirclejerk but way less funny

Just repeat the same ā€œlol embiid flop, sixers suck to watchā€ jokes all the time

  22. BarackObamasnow

Just bad top to bottom, and unlucky on top of that. Ton of Embiid/Maxey shots rimming out, Strus hit that BS buzzer beater and another 3 on an apparently infinite shot clock and Garland hit that BS 3 off the backboard.

Maxey was missing some decent looks which is fine, but his mentality in first quarters is way off. If you’re just going to give the ball to someone the ball and get out of the way then go to the bench and let Beverley do that so we have a better defender on the other end.

  23. iam_soyboy

Good chance we won’t even be a top-4 seed when the season finishes. Fully expect Miami to leapfrog us.

  24. Myrese_Taxey

And this sub thinks we donā€™t need to make any trades

  25. AcknowledgeMeReddit

This is the first loss since the season opener this season that wasnā€™t a scheduled loss Imo. Worst kind of loss. Getting blown out. Fight all the way back. Take the lead late. Still loseā€¦ šŸ˜šŸ˜

  26. going to the sixers wolves game tmw. my worst case scenario. go into OT today and lose. travel. back to back lol

  27. jacobtfromtwilight

So are we out of moving on from the in season tourney then?

  28. sam_sung009

we were saving our energy for a crucial game tomorrow night against the TWolves.

    all part of the plan.

  29. eaglesphan1

The offense looked like it went back to Docā€™s offense last year. A lot of ISO and two man game. Felt like Tobias didnā€™t get enough touches down the stretch

  30. BarackObamasnow

Harris was good offensively but doesn’t deserve praise.

2 rebounds in 43 minutes against a double big lineup leaving Joel completely out to dry. He likes to play like a 4 on offense but a shooting guard on defense. Covington had 7 rebounds in 14 minutes, the dude is just not interested in hustling.

  31. ArchegosCapitalCEO

    11 years as a GMā€¦ zero finals appearancesā€¦ the man is a genius šŸ¤“

Morey would be a Reddit neckbeard just like the rest of us without Harden. Keep downvoting and defending him like simps
