I wasn't expecting them to win last night – but the Spurs have to start playing better defense. There were times last night when they were "out of position" on the floor while playing defense. Not just last night either. I guess this year is considered a "developmental year" so the wins and loses don't matter?…

I love Jeremy he was my favorite player last season but now every time he touches the ball I hope he doesn't shoot…….and he's our PG! He's looking for his shot too much – he should stick to catch and shoot 3's and passing the ball out on drives and not shooting. Also, What's so hard about running a pick and roll and either lobbing it up or driving? How many times did they get him to jump on a pump fake? Jeremy's inability to run the PG is not his fault, its been an experiment that has not worked and its clear his future is not at the position. So why prolong the inevitable? Starting 5 should be Tre, Devin, Jeremy, Wemby and Collins with KJ coming off the bench.
The one good thing I can take from the loss with the Clippers is I thought the pace of the game was really good. The effort was there the whole game but the Clippers have too much experience. Wemby is just weak at his base so he gets pushed around a lot. He rushes because he's trying to avoid the contact. The physicality is throwing him off but I think as he gets more used to it, he'll be more aggressive. Also I think if Wemby takes an extra dribble to get closer to the basket he'll have easy dunks. I loved the aggression of Cedi and Keldon Johnson. They were both great. I can see the growth in this team already. Just be patient. I forgot to mention Sohan. I think he is showing great leadership as he tries to do something he has never done. He's balancing between passing and scoring. He's getting better
The problem is Wemby's rushing his 3 point shots, Doc Rivers noticed that a couple of games ago on espn and said he needs to take his time.

Spurs need to go trade for Craig Porter Jr. This team needs a solid PG desperately. Wemby looks like hes actually regressing on offense. He doesn't know how to drive to the rim, he settles for jumpers routinely when he shouldn't. He needs to be off ball more and not have to create his own shot. He needs a good PG to be able to do that
Wemby is putting up 3s like hes a 40% shooter. At some point someone needs to tell him hes shooting worse from the 3pt line than Giannis. He needs to play inside out. He shouldnt even be attempting a 3pt shot until he has 5 made fgs inside 15. Hes hurting himself and the team with all these stupid jumpers. 2 dribbles and hes at the rim. But he insists on shooting
