Nurse got fired for insisting guys Masai brought in are trash and shouldn’t be getting touches. And he was right.
It took firing one of the best coaches in the league and bringing in a guy who’s pretty much just a good vibes guy to see it but it’s true. Flynn sucks, he wasn’t being held back. He’s just small and he sucks, same with your other middling bench players

Masai said he hated watching last year team
This year team is even more unwatchable lol

As an enjoyer of chaos I hope he wins a ring in year 1 of being the coach over there

“Good luck with those guys”

I’m happy for Nurse. He has a good basketball mind. He deserves a good team with good players.

He’s not with the team, get over it. Tired of seeing NN posted in this sub time and time again. Yeah our roster is mid but a majority of them need decisions to be made this year. Either way we’ll be getting the changes in either direction we want. I’ve hated Philly and Boston my whole fandom and NN isn’t going to change that. Post him in their sub if you want to glaze the man

Anyone who blamed him for the bench wasn’t looking at who we had on the bench seriously.

You’re confusing the issue.
Nurse was asked to play these “bad” players. He didn’t. There was literally articles 2 years ago that the FO is asking him to play more guys and he didn’t.
Lets put things in context.
If Nurse lost more games developing Koloko, Flynn, etc and trying to maximize their potential.
The Jak trade likely doesn’t happen or one of FVV/Pascal gets traded at the deadline because the roster isn’t performing with regular minutes.
No one has said Nurse doesn’t know how to win. In order to win the development of certain players was diminished which didn’t make sense in the long-term because 1) they’re less tradeable and 2) If we couldn’t make the play-in, that would’ve already caused different decisions at the trade-deadline.

You think Darko doesn’t know certain players will give him more wins than others? He’s outright said they’re investing in some of of these young guys. He’s aware Gradey is hurting their win % for instance, he’s going to keep playing him. He was brought in specifically to make these bench players better and try to recoup value from the players that failed.
