No. He didn't play in a single playoff game during the Nuggets' championship run.
That’s usually decided by the team’s discretion. When a player started the championship season with them but didn’t end it. But more teams tend to hand them out to players who put in a partial season than not.
Other factors can be how much of the season they played with the team. Majority versus minority. But if you believe the rumors then there was some unhealthy competition and bad blood between Bones and Jamal. If that’s true then it’s no wonder that he didn’t get a ring.
Under normal circumstances I would support Bones getting his ring as he played a part in the regular season but the bad blood makes it awkward as he disowned association with the Nuggets

There should just be a rule one way or another. He played 42 games and was somewhat impactful but the Nuggets probably wouldn’t have won the title if he wasn’t traded. I say no because he was bad-mouthing the team. If he wants a ring then shut up until the season is over.

I liked Bones but Absolutely not!!! He was traded prior to the playoffs and the actual championship run. I really don’t remember him being the key to any significant wins last season. Maybe he was but I don’t recall it. That being said, he was just a guy and they did much better and gel better without him. So again heck no, have fun with your time on the bench.
Give the ring to Gary Harris instead. He really deserves one since he took the bullet and sacrifice for our raise

So many bitter homers…clearly y’all don’t know the precedent…It has nothing to do with if you played on the team during the playoffs. He played about half the year and contributed to over 40 wins for Denver.
As far as him leaving…mike Malone said he not MPJr plays good defense…so he had to make a choice. He went with the 6’10 shooter instead of the 6’3 one. He never said bones was disruptive and so what if he wanted a bigger role…when Murray was hurt he played very well as a rookie. Any competitor wants a chance to compete.
