The Toronto Raptors allowed 23 fastbreak points and turned the ball over a season-high 23 times, all while allowing 68 points in the paint as they lost to the Orlando Magic 126-107 in their second In-Season Tournament game, essentially eliminating them from the NBA’s new tournament. Paolo Banchero put up 25 points and Jalen Suggs put up 18, meanwhile, Dennis Schroder led all Raptors with 24.

This is what happens when you lack shooters. Even though their 3pt shooting percentage was ok yesterday, their 3pt shooting was a last result and only after they couldn’t get easy shots. Half court offence killing them.

This is the difference when the Magic tanked their team to get great picks in the last 3 years. Now they seem to have a good young core for multiple years to come. Yes, defense was bad, but both teams shot 50% overall. The big difference was the turnovers (23 vs 12). Raptors had extra 11 turns over which resulted the Magic attempting 25 more shots (75 vs 100 shot attempts). It's hard to win when the other team attempted 25 more shots.
As a magic fan i usually chock up an automatic loss to the raptors but last night they looked locked ln and were challenging every shot for the entire game. i feel we are similar teams in different phases of our rebuilds and it felt good to finally see a win over a team that looked to be our blueprint kicking our ass almost every matchup for the last several years. NO HATE RAPTOR FANS, GREAT ORGANIZATION THAT DOESNT STAY DOWN LONG !

Then the Pacers put up 157 against Atlanta! Who knows who is going to show up!
