Remember all the idiots losing their minds that he wouldn’t opt in and would leave for nothing? How many do you think are shitting on him now?

Some of you guys are the biggest clowns, he’s playing injured, should he be playing? Probably not, but it’s not like we have any other options to go to right now, if Dick was hitting his shots then he could probably stay out for awhile but he’s the only one on the team besides maybe OG, Dennis and sometimes Scottie that can consistently hit 3’s

This all being said I don’t want it to sound like I’m on team Trent, dudes probably been the second biggest disappointment behind Precious, but throwing him under the bus when he’s hurt is just low

Trent Jr. can get buckets but when he’s off, he’s off. It’s hard to put a price on that.

First, it was Malachi who was getting the hate. Now it’s Grady, a rookie. Precious who missed 6 games and Gary playing with an injury.

Maybe it’s time to admit all these players we have ain’t so good after all.

  7. Not sure if guys here know just how painful plantar fascitis is. It hurts to walk with it let alone run with it. This team can’t deny that they need GTJ and his buckets in order to be a successful team. I belive he gets better as the season goes on.

  8. Bro will be lucky to get 15 million a season at this point…

10pts/1ast/2rb on 37% from 2pt range and 54% on free throws

I’m sure those numbers will improve but he’s not a 25 million-dollar player, no f#$king way

People keep talking about his “plantar fasciitis” and I sympathize BUT good starters in the league figure out how to be impactful even when they’re unable to score, good guards can facilitate and play make, they can get into position off the ball and shoot from the corner etc. and GTJ hasn’t shown he can do any of that…what we’re seeing is that when GTJ can’t score in isolation (which is what he does best) he’s not an effective player…

    What did Darko say

“If you can do one thing at a really high level you will find a role on a team, If you can do two things at a really high level you can start in the NBA, If you can do three things at a really high level you’re an All-Star, and If you think you can do more than 4 things at a high level, you’re probably out of the league and playing in Europe”

GTJ does one thing at an elite level, he’s a Bucket, he’s an elite on-ball, 1 vs 1 iso scorer…that’s it…and he does it as well as almost anyone when healthy and in the zone…BUT when he can’t score he’s unable to contribute in any other meaningful way…and he’s never been a good off-ball shooter like OG or Otto, he needs the ball in his hands to score which is a problem in a system that revolves around everyone being able to play make and score off ball…and you’re future star (Scottie) is a playmaker who’s going to facilitate a lot…GTJ needs to learn how to play more off-ball or I don’t see a future where it makes sense signing him to a long contract

To be fair he is playing hurt right now. I’m confident he’ll be able to turn things around.
