After tonight’s game, we should realize that Dyson is not reliable on 3 point attempts yet, but we simply need these wide open shots to go in. That’s where CJ comes in and we smoke Kings by 20 again.

Increased pace seems to be what wins us games, so having tandem CJ/Jose/Naji come off the bench to run opponents’ second units ragged is a great strategy. I hope they consider it and have CJ buy in. Small sample size, of course, but a great problem to have. Loving what I’m seeing, of late.

Let’s see if all that “Vet leadership” and “accountability” is just talk or truth. If the coaching staff asks him to come off the bench will he pout or play ball…?

  4. This is so wrong. You’re not going to win a lot of games going 7-30 from three and getting 15 points from your starting guards. We won last night by completely dominating the paint. We can do that against Sacramento but you’re kidding yourself if you think we’re going to be able to do that every game. I love Dyson, but he’s good rotation player. CJ needs to start. We need his shooting.

  5. Spacing is so needed in the starting lineup I don’t see it happening. We really need a shooter on the floor at all times in today’s NBA. Right now we have been playing great and getting away with basically 1 shooter in the rotation, but teams will adjust and make life more difficult for Zion and BI.

Remember it is rotations in the NBA not hockey subs meaning if CJ starts he will still have run with 2nd units and Dyson will still get run with Herb. The difference will be when we run Dyson and Herb we can add additional shooters like Trey or Hawk with them out there spacing the floor. With rotations CJ can also play with Dyson/Herb and Trey to play more D.

Spacing is going to be the key. When there is spacing refs will see more of the fouls on Zion because they can see what’s going on in the paint. When there is no spacing they just see bodies and miss fouls.

Ain’t no way CJ is coming off the bench on this roster. Stop with this debate.

Sounds like all the other national media that doesn’t know our team so they jump on hot takes.

Just because we go on a winning streak doesn’t mean you change the starting lineup unless the starting lineup fails to win. CJ was our best player before he went out.

The borrego offense operates best when there is a scoring guard involved
