I often think about the situation Chet Holmgren is in with an already solid team – SGA is 25 yo and is a top 3 point guard – compared to Victor, especially as people were saying arriving in a team without pressure was ideal for him. I think there are serious drawbacks to being in such an inexperienced team, it limits how much he can learn; i wonder if Victor regrets not having more experienced teammates – of course hoping the Spurs trade to acquire a good point guard. Sorry if i annoy anyone with my thinking aloud.
The spurs need a PG badly. I've never seen someone work so hard off the ball, and not get rewarded. He cuts a lot on thier possessions. He flashes open, but the spurs either dont see it, or dont have the ability to throw it. The pass doesnt even have to be accurate. It just needs to be high asf.
