It’s the first time it’s been addressed by literally anyone within the world of basketball.

For anyone who’s going to say it’s suspicious that he won’t provide an answer, please keep in mind that he has almost certainly been instructed not to answer any questions related to it.

I’m sure it’s being looked at. Even if he’s 100% innocent, he’s not going to come out and say that it’s absolutely false. The moment he responds with a yes/no/maybe, it becomes a news story. “Giddey accused of (allegations), denies responsibility” etc…

Just let it play out and see what happens before condemning the man.

Yeah it’s clear the thunder have told him to say no comment but i can’t see them having him at practice talking to media if any of these allegations were remotely true?

End of the day Giddey doesn’t have to discuss his private life with anyone if he’s committed no crime.

Come back here after a few days and this decision is gonna be veeeeerrry important for the Thunder. Because one of two things is probably true….

    1) The Thunder have no idea what’s going on and the best thing they can do before they have to set him out or suspend him while under investigation is to have him comment like it’s all under control

    Or

    2) Giddey came in with agent and lawyer to Presti and/or Mark and showed them proof to show his innocence along, and with that being said, they needed him to come out to face the public because they want to act like everything is as normal because they’ll come out with a statement

I don’t think whether Giddey is innocent or guilty, that X and the rest of social media will be satiated. This is just the new type of discourse we are stuck with when it comes to shit like this

  4. Him practicing has to be a good sign, right? I can’t imagine they would have him around the team if they’re emotely thought the allegations where true

Presti: “The sky falls on every NBA team at last twice in a season.”

  6. Must be tough. Agent probably protecting his client. OKC protecting the organization.

Just here to wait on all the chronically online clowns to come explain away how him being at practice still actually proves this whole thing is true lmao

Everyone can agree that the team would be aware of it. So I think the fact that he is still actively with the team is encouraging and would make it seem worse it is not an open and shut case.

If he was definitely in the wrong, no way he would be with the team.

It’ll be fine at the end of the day. He’d be on leave like Wander Franco was

  10. Best case scenario all the accusations aren’t true, but Giddey still feel bad for all the drama he caused and take a discount on his next contract. Worst case scenario he truly fucked up.
