When Darko Rajakovic was hired, he was considered a development coach. As Pascal Siakam stayed away from the team during summer league, issuing a statement that he didn’t want to be traded, the saga dangled over Raptor fans. One side was convinced Siakam needed to be kept, the other side was convinced he needed to be traded, and what no one really stopped to consider was… what if he needed to be developed?
When Darko Rajakovic was hired, many clowned that the Raptors basically hired Pensare Basketball. A coffee-obsessed 5’11 Serb from Cacak, who talked fast, drank more coffee than people drink water, with a passion for European motion offense who compared Scottie Barnes to Nikola Jokic? Yes sir. I see it. But I’m here to discuss why they ABSOLUTELY hired the anti-me, someone who understands life, and people in a way I wish I did, and what this might all mean for Pascal Siakam’s future in Toronto.

It takes a real human being to admit that they have been wrong.
You constantly amaze me. I often found myself agreeing with you only to find out from you that I was wrong as well.
That’s why DR is getting the big bucks.
It's funny. I use this in social gatherings and it's gonna sound kinda out there, but trust me, it'll make sense. If you're trying to get with 2 girls at the same time and one is more down, you focus on the girl less interested (you have to keep her engaged or it's all over.) I think that's what Darko is doing with Pascal, Scottie is already bought in, he'll find a way to impact the game. Keep Pascal engaged.
Saving this clip. Let’s see what that 2075 pick ends up being 😆
It seems that Darko is trying to get rid of Pascal I don’t like what he does and don’t talk about Pascal as if he does not want him there
