Injuries have also kept us from great and consistent match ups. Games are less competitive when critical pieces cannot perform well or at all.
Also we had great rivalries in early 2010s. LAC vs MEM, GSt vs LAC. OKC vs SAS. Rockets vs Jazz.

They missed a real opportunity with the in season tourney. Bring back rivalries by using divisions as the groups for the in season tourney.
