Embiid plays to get fouled and it is frustrating to watch. I’ll give him props though cause when the defense gives him space, he makes them pay

And that’s why he always flames out in the 2nd round in the playoffs. Those calls don’t get rewarded in the playoffs even for MVPs.
The way the league officiates Embiid is absurd. Guy is a tank and as far as I’m concerned when you are that much bigger and stronger than everyone else, you should be getting less calls not more.
He did that last year to get MVP, and it was a 3rd of his points, it made no sense how he got the award doing that as a primary factor to his scoring titles

It’s unbelievable that his bullshit run into the defender and throw up (what is not really) a shot works. This league is a joke in so many ways but I still love it.

What’s strange is, people call out and think of LeBron as some flopping foul merchant, but instead his free throw rate shows that he needs to flop more, since refs are blind. Teams challenge refs to call a foul, instead of trying to defend legally.

They need to do something about this. Guy flops on almost every shot.
Watch the games. If the opponent didn’t throw three bodies on him every time he touches the ball in the paint, he would be hitting on 80+% of those shots. It’s the only way to prevent giving him a free layup every time down the court
It’s by design. Literally the same thing happened to Shaq. Only difference is Embiid makes the free throws

Not even a Philly or Embiid fan but if you think he’s getting these purely for flopping I implore you to watch the games. Matchups HAVE to foul him because he’s otherwise just getting the easiest 2 at the rim, he’s too big for them and he’s a master of getting switched on smaller guys in the post.
Embiid acts like he got murdered if you breathe on him from the other side of the court. Like, I don’t know how he’s the one guy they’re still letting bait.
