On point man, Fox is a freaking beast! Honestly he has been very good since year 3 (was solid year 2 as well) but the last 3 years of 23-25ppg and then last szn shooting > 50% on that ppg, he has shown why he is elite and why everyone should take notice. Clutch as can be. Great leader (will say as a longtime Kings fan, many thought he never would be a leader because he doesn’t talk a lot but when Domas came he came out of his shell big time and I think both Domas and the Kings proving they are dedicated to building around him are to thank as well as just maturing as a man).
Even if his 3pt % dips below 35, he will still make them when it matters most. He was around 36-37% most of last szn but dropped later on. I think 35-37% is plenty fine for the man. ELITE finisher. Elite float game. Elite middy in general. And while this video was about offense, his defense is only getting better and better and even years ago we got flashes of how he could be one of the best on-ball defenders in the league so it’s been nice to see him finally working towards that. I don’t blame him for bad D prior to coach brown, the entire team was GARBAGE on that end so why would Fox play D when no one else is ya know? I say that because he was predicted to be a good defender out of college.
And while he is not a pass-first pg, his bball index stats show he is an elite playmaker on top of everything else. He has only gotten better and better at both reading and controlling the game. He should definitely be looked at as on the level of a Tatum or Luka though I am well aware Luka is 100% a generational talent and I have said for 3-5 years the only player I would ever trade Fox for if I could is Tatum. Or Jokic at this point lol. Forgive my book, Fox is my favorite player and Kings are my team so figured I would chime in. I don’t know a ton about the game but I have watched every second the man has played in the league
Most underrated player in the league. Literally an ALL-NBA selection and MVP voted last seasn, but people act like he barely even make AllStars. 30 PPG on 52% FG, only Point Guard to be above 50, most efficient PG and hes the first ever Clutch Player of the Year too. I see LeBron still in Top 10 lists, but DeAaron owns him everytime they play, yet hes not even Top 21. If LeBron is on the Kings, he would complain and sign over to the Lakers before they make playoffs.
Fox is a well mannered and has a good values individual. He is a true leader and his teammates love him.
He’s just going to get better. Don’t put another all-star on the kings. Maybe Murray can be that dude.

Fox has been a stud in the NBA for a long while, but he just never got the recognition. However, he has this look this year like "I'm going to destroy you." He looks really determined and it shows on the court. Hopefully, he can stay healthy for the whole year.

His biggest weakness is sketchy free throw shooting. Luckily, he is clutch and makes the ones when the game is on the line. But, one could argue that every free throw is equally important, so no excuses for missing free throws as a point guard.
