i hate posting this. it’s not just Luka. the whole team was just lethargic the whole game. but if Mavs want to be serious, they can’t have their leader be a traffic cone on defense

I hope the Mavs keep this clip of Russ attacking Luka on every possession. He needs to learn how to defend against it. Teams will always try to target him until that label goes away, it going to be hard to get rid of the reputation, but he can do it
I get mad because there are times where he had position but continues to back pedal.
I’m afraid he doesnt have that footwork anymore, after 19/20 season, I never see luka defend that well consistently. Either luka’s getting blown by or forced to fouling out. We know our west final series, warriors have strategy to try attacking luka
