They said he couldn’t playmake. That he couldn’t handle the ball under pressure. POINT AUSTIN. 15 points, 10 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals. Clutch in the 4th as usual!

He is learning a new role and it usually takes some time, but I trust Reaves.

  4. Austin always makes it when it counts his balls are huge af

I thought lebron missing his left arm in this photo

His play making gets better when either LeBron or DLo is on the floor but today he seemed to be focused on making plays for everyone rather for himself, and it wasn’t one of those dishing out at the last second when in the pinch.

Should be the primary/secondary ball handler in the 4th esp. with that careless dlo turnover late in the 4th that almost cost us the game as cavs made a short run

People say a lot of things. Everything is on a game by game basis. Sometimes things gel and come together well and sometimes you have a bad game. That’s how sports work.

  9. I hope he’s okay after that scary fall during the last play!

I’m starting to get convinced he’s going to end up fringe all-star level (which given he’s in LA probably means actual all-star appearances)

He’s so smart, humble, competitive and hard-working, I really think he’s going to end up maxing out his potential, and I suspect it’ll only take 2-3 years. Physical limitations put a ceiling on him, but it’s not like he’s 5 11 or can only move at a snails pace.

I also think the only reason he’s not there already has been lack of opportunity to play at the highest level in high school and college.

That’s because he was in the lineup a lot with Lebron and/or Dlo. Having those guys helps Reaves a lot. He is a better playmaker when he is off the ball oppose to bringing it up the floor and getting into some Pick n Roll situation to create offense for others. He doesn’t have the athleticism or skill to do this.

From what I’ve seen, he’s only a good playmaker in transition or semi transition.. in the half court, he takes way too long to set up the offense or holds onto the ball far to long

The hate he was getting this summer/the beginning of the season should make him ecstatic….that shit was superstar level hate. Had Americans on /r/nba rooting for Dillon Brooks and Canada when they played in fiba

Bron’s trust on AR’s ball handling and decision making specially in crunch time is fucking something else.
