WHAT does he say that makes him an intelligent analyst? He’s ‘real’?
He’s constantly contradicting his negative perceptions of teams and players. Hearing him talk with a mouth full of peanut butter. Rambling about the other team’s inability to be consistent as the Celtics nearly blow a 24 point lead in 14 minutes in the same game, whistles not going our way, using small sample sizes to emphasize the negative or positive statistics of a player, ‘uh we didn’t make shots’, ‘BE BETTER or PLAY HARDER‘ over and over after losses.
Most of the time, all I hear is something along the lines of Celtics didn’t play ball…they gotta play harder…give it to JT and let him go to work…derpy derpy doo. Dude did nothing but shit on Jrue Holiday’s defense compared to Marcus Smart for almost 3 years…his ‘real’ analysis of Jrue Holiday’s defense changed when he became a Celtic. Same with Porzingis, no defense, and he was on a Wizards team on it’s last leg. Now he’s so versatile defensively and offensively, works so well with Jaylen Brown.

He is a former player that knows what its like to be an a player that had to fight to stay in the league, e knows the x’s and o’s, he’s beloved by the fans, and he has great repour with the whole crew. Sure can his details be on the surface level sometimes but that isn’t all just about him but also the time constricts of being on live tv.
He played 14 years in the NBA I think he knows basketball more than some random guy on Reddit. Pipe down lil boy.
Eddie House was a dog, and played in a man’s NBA.
He also was a crucial part of our 2008 title run. He was the 3pt sharpshooter off the bench.
Eddie House was the equivalent of a reliable role player who could consistently hit 3s. He skills as a player was portable to the point that he would make any bench elite, due to the value as a shooter when 3pt shooting was jusssst becoming a commodity.
He’s won championships with 2 different teams.
And he was part of the 2008 culture, the last Celtic team to win a ring.
If House was an anonymous poster, the hive mind here would shame him and call him a doomer, and a fake fan.
Eddie House is the closest thing we have in Boston to an objective source. He’s not from Boston, but he works here, and was part of a Celtic championship team.
If House is saying we look good, we look good. If House is saying we play soft, we play soft.
He’s the most credible voice we have in Celtic media.
