  1. 10 stocks in one game is ridiculous lmao. he’s gonna be great.

  2. Few_Mulberry5372

Spurs adding Wemby and this caliber of defender and being worse than last year is crazy

  3. Handyman2116

Was he injured or what? Left the floor early in the fourth and never came back. I thought he could have gotten a 5×5

  4. His improvement during this terrible losing streak has actually been pretty crazy. So excited for Wembys future.

  5. KangorKodos

His length in passing lanes was insane, the way he just makes everything harder is ridiculous. I think he caused even more turnovers than the 10 stocks say.

  6. browndude10

Yea but that one guy posted here that he wasn’t impressed with him lol

  7. His defensive impact is just crazy, on a different stratosphere than chet right now

  8. Jupenator

Damn, if Pop wasn’t going full tank commander and if the starters could hit their shots on Wemby’s passes he’d have the 5×5. What a game.

  9. Extreme-Transport

Bro needs to stop shooting three point heaves before the half ends to preserve his %, is he dumb?

  10. RapsareChamps_Suckit

Excuse me for a second, can we quit all of the wemby posts.. It’s got no substance, it’s not who we are. Knock off the posts.”

  11. We just kept throwing the ball straight to him lmao, his length had dudes surprised all night long. Sad he didn’t get any time in the 4th, had a chance at a 5×5!

  12. It’s all fun and games till we get other impact defenders and defensive playmakers out there

  13. RealPrinceJay

    22 and 11 in 24 minutes is amazing. And then there’s the 10 stocks…

  14. siphillis

The offense is making steps in the right direction, but holy shit that defense. He legit looks like the best defender in the world for a few stretches there. Even Jokić, who isn’t intimidated by anyone, had a few moments where he looked genuinely unsure how to even approach this kid.

  15. Rare-Ship7604

Wait a second, r/nba told me he is a bust already if you read the recent days slander

  16. All this while “Point” Sochan wasnt getting him touches is actually crazy

  17. And you’ve got people on this sub saying he’s a disappointment smh

  18. JacquouileFripouile

Defense is already All-NBA tier. He gonna win 3+ DPOYs

  19. kit_kaboodles

Insane statline from any rookie, let alone a 19yo.

  20. Middle-Welder3931

10 stocks in one half of playing time is alien stuff. He could get a 5X5 *this year* if he puts it all together in the same game. Nice to see his FT% staying high. That’s 3 straight good games for Wemby. Strong bounce back after the last couple of weeks.

  21. ShotClockCheeeese

Man Chet is good but this guy is a freak of nature

One thing that has been really nice to see during this losing streak is the fact that Victor has shown a lot of maturity and how he’s handled. What’s probably been his first? Really really bad string of losses he suffered in his entire basketball career

When the Spurs started to drop games early, he really tried to play hero ball and force the issue way too much and it caused his game to kind of spin. Its wheels a little bit on offense. With his offense being strange so much, you could even notice it affecting his defense which came out of the gates fantastic initially

So many rookies let something like that. Knock them on their heels and it can take them a long long time to get out of that kind of funk and bad habits

But he’s been getting better game by game. Even the couple of statistical stinkers he still had in the last couple weeks really came more from the team. Just getting smashed so quickly that he never got a chance to get into a rhythm

He shot selection has been night and day the last few, he’s been much smarter with his help defense, and he’s operating as a much more willing and intelligent passer

  23. better-thinking

Was at this game, the steals were ridiculous, his hands are amazing on D

  24. pinktwhite

I was repeatedly told he’s ass and Chet is better

When will people learn that +/- is a bad stat for exactly Wemby’s situation lol
