  1. I did expect an immediate jump in defensive efficiency, but being of the best defensive teams in the league, and Sengun being a strong asset on defensive end so early into the season is kind of a shock to be honest.

  2. This is the best breakdown I’ve ever seen, lucky to have you as a rockets content creator. Smart takes and great analysis

  3. The only Rockets starting lineup that can't defend is Green. Imagine if Green will be able to learn how to play defense like the Kobe and Jordan defense. They're like the bulls in the 90s, they're really hard to beat. Because the whole starting lineup can score and defend. That's unique as a team, especially in this era. We are going to be a championship team if if green steps up.

  4. Rockets need Jamarion Sharp next year to back up the center spot. It would be great to see a rotation of Sengun, Smith and Sharp next season down low. Sharp is like Smith + 6 inches and can be a staple rim protector which Rockets don't have. He would add a new dimension to our defense and rebounding, plus with proper training, he can be valuable on lobs around the rim like Harden-Capella of the past.

  5. Back to the good old days of smacking Denver. I’ll never forget them ducking that harden/cp3 match up a few years.

  6. Great content and analysis. This video furthered cemented to me how selfish a player James Harden is by giving zero effort on defense. So glad we did not bring him back.

I believe this team will take off as soon as we acquire or develop an offensive killer who can close out games. I’m hoping that Jalen Green can become that player.
