Shit. He’s killing it. He’s going to be a nice rotational piece with a year of NBA weightlifting/training.

In his 18 minutes as a pro, he has 4 points 3 rebounds and 2 assists.

Almost prefer Colin was with the main team so he’d be with AD, wood, Hayes on a daily basis and accelerate his development.

A second big with AD is exactly what we need. Hopefully he continues to develop

Jay Huff all over again 🤣

But for real, guy looks good so far. Hope to see him with the parent team and still killing it

He could be a dollar store Jokic in the right system.

He’s shown flashes of being able to run the offense from the elbow and having okay touch from the midrange for a big. Has size at 6’11 250lbs, was a good paint deterrent at Florida, plus he’s averaging 3.5 stock in the G-leauge.

Still A LOT he needs to work on to be NBA rotation level, but the raw talent is there.

I’d like to give him a look off the bench and rest Hayes a few games out of the year, just to see where he’s at.

I think he’d be good in the double big lineup with Woods/AD that we run a few mins a game or as the bench big with Reaves.

I’ve said it before. All he needs to do is to gain some weight and or muscle.

    Lakers scouting department strikes again

He was the only young kid that impressed me in summer league.

Max Lewis seens to have some interesting tools, but he is a few years away IMHO while Castleton just do everything right and may be a serviceable role player in the near future.

Think I remember reading that he was a monster defender in college as well. Hopefully it translates because that’s what usually stops centers from making the leap to the league.

New Jay Huff dropped. Too good for G League but too slow for NBA was Huff’s problem, so hopefully Castleton doesn’t fall into that group
