Dear Alpy, just make out with your ball and keep OKC out ya mouth

  2. SandyMandy17

    Bro it’s Houston

Both of those cities are in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do 😂

  3. JeremiahPhantom

Isn’t Houston just bigger and sweatier OKC?

  4. New_Essay_4869

Cason Wallace basically said the same thing. Cheers to Sengun tho. Man is a star on the rise

Fans get to defend you when you date 15 year olds? Oh my fault a Houston court acquitted Deshaun Watson. Gotta love the Bible Belt

Texas had a 100 year head start on American settlement, found oil first, and are on the coast. Is what it is.

  7. Strange1130

I would say that too in this situation too lol, can’t fault him at all. What’s he supposed to say, oh yeah I really wish I went to OKC, this is a bummer!

  8. ConfidentDraft9564

Why does he keep bringing this up?

Is he upset OKC didn’t take him or what?

Like the top comment, honestly who cares.

Getting paid millions by either team anyways. Can do w/e you want on your free time with that kind of cash.

Bro’s just jealous he doesn’t get to rip some whippets in the Penn Square Mall bathroom and go to Tucker’s.

    Without typing a novel:

    – Many of you are homers for acting like Houston isn’t more desired than OKC. Grow up. Neither are cities that you’d expect a 18-22 year old to want to live in willingly, but for damn sure most across the spectrum would likely pick Houston over OKC.

    – Sengun of course isn’t going to say anything positive about OKC, especially as OKC was the team who could have used his services the most but instead felt Roby and Friends would be better than him.

    – This is a very hardcore bubble feud, as I don’t think casual fans even care to care about Alperen Sengun and his thoughts and feelings, respectfully. He’s at best a “good” player who has Kanter-like numbers. Not knocking it as it’s helping Houston, but this isn’t a player where him speaking means folks listen outside of hardcore OKC fans who will boo him just because he openly rejected OKC.

Basically, I guess we’re never going to have to endure the “HOU is looking to get rid of Sengun. My trade machine says….” posts

  11. As someone who lives in neither, no one has a positive opinion of either nationally. What even is this comparison lmao Houston is just a bigger dump

  12. CaptainMKG

Wouldn’t he have said the opposite if we had drafted him? These statements don’t really matter at the end of the day.

  13. Nuttyboibolbol

Jeez man, personal preferences, why you guys mad at him lol

  14. Federal-Credit-1456

I think he would feel differently if he was winning basketball games 😅

  15. Legitimate-Ad-3072

Lol do you really think these guys care where they play nba basketball. NO MATTER WHERE YOU PLAY YOU STILL SPEND 50% OF THE TIME TRAVELING AND PLAYING BASKETBALL.

  16. Nickname-CJ

I mean he only said that because that’s what people told him😭how is he supposed to know

  17. Been posting this out here everytime someone brings up okc not picking sengun. dude did not want to be here and presti ain’t gonna draft someone who hates it here

  18. swipefist

I hope bro is still bored after traveling there to get blown out by 30 for the next 8 years straight

If you listen to the entire podcast, you’ll realize it’s not about Thunders or Oklahoma. He arrived in the USA at 18 without speaking English. Settling in Houston, which has a significant Turkish community and resembles the large city he hails from (Istanbul), he felt more at ease. He would also prefer New York over any smaller cities. Also, he didn’t bring up the topic himself; he was asked about it again.
