I think usually people would just go, oh yeah… We yell, "sell the team," and it's a goof or whatever. But, at this point, it's warranted. Gores has failed the fan base. And season ticket holders who paid MORE MONEY than last season to come watch this team should get their money back. And you are 100% correct, this isn't the players… You can tell they are trying… But all this tanking and not having any real veterans to calm down the young guys has them playing like dog shit. Monty can only coach the roster he's been given. At some point you have to point upstairs… And you were right earlier on the coping hour… Arn Tellem deserves heat on this product as well. They traded Saddiq Bey away for the rotting corpse of James Wiseman. No way they were being serious even back then. This starts at the top and we need change. Tom is supposedly a smart business man… Being a smart business man means knowing when to cut your losses on an investment that you didn't put any work into. He just wanted the cache and the clout that comes along with owning a team. He didn't actually give a damn about basketball. And that's the sad truth. This fan base and this franchise deserve better. Detroit is within the fabric of the NBA, you can't talk about NBA history without talking about the Pistons. We need an owner who believes and knows that.
Remember when that weirdo Tom Gores chaperoned a date with grown ass man Andre Drummond and that Nickelodeon girl? Also he makes money off of jacking up the price per minutes when prisoners in our overcrowded ass prison system (that is some fuckin how allowed to be a profit driven business) try to call home. Fuck Tom Gores. I've been wanting him to sell the team since the moment he bought it from the Davidsons.
